@LJUTCMommy why the hell are you ashamed of liking something better than what is considered "popular?" IMHO Starbucks sucks ass and I'd rather have a $1.50 7-11 coffee than drink that overpriced burnt shit they call coffee. /rant

I know! I feel like such a loser. It's just that I associate McDonalds with uneducated, unhealthy, and sedentary lifestyles. I don't want to be judged that way.

I wish I could just be one of those people who doesn't care, but unfortunately, I'm not.
Woah. So if you see someone with a McDonald's coffee cup, you think they're uneducated, sedentary, and unheathy? Geez that's ridiculous...
No I don't. I try not to judge. I'm just afraid others might.

@LJUTCmommy I really like you. So I will back away from the flame that is about to ignite. The things said here will NEVER be forgotten. You're kind of giving us "Californians" a bad name.

    Smh.

Ok LOL! I seriously laughed my ass off at "I is dumb, I like cheeseburgers."

    I love you.

  • I get a McDs drink almost daily. Usually the $1 sweet tea or a iced mocha, sometimes a smoothie. So I spend nearly $10 a week on McDs drinks.

McDs is making me poor! ;)

Guess I'm uneducated, unhealthy and sedentary because I love mcdonalds. I'm totally side eyeing you for this blanket statement.

  • I side eye "label whores". Don't get me wrong I like nice things. However, I don't care what brand it is. I'm talking the "oh, I won't wear that unless it's Chanel". Like I full on roll my eyes at those people. I like fashion even if it comes from Target (pronounced tar-jee for all you fancies).

    Love me some Tar-jay :)
  • @blondiebia21
I totally did the same thing 2 weeks ago at a party and it totally backfired on me. Mil proceeded to sit next to me and talk to LO in the moby with her face about 10 inches from mine. Close enough she spit on me while talking. I tried to get away but she just followed :/
Have I mentioned how much I can't stand my mil?

  • Whoa. I didn't realize my own shame/ guilt for indulging in Fast Food would get me flamed. Sorry guys. I know this is my own issue.

I eat McDonalds all the time, but I feel guilty and ashamed because I know it is unhealthy. Same goes with any fast food.

I am not in the drive thru lane thinking other people in the same lane are obese or uneducated. I am well aware some people can only afford fast food. I grew up with one of those families. I understand if a cheeseburger is $1 and an apple is 80 cents you're going to get the one that will fill your kid up.

Again. I don't judge anyone else it's my own personal shame and guilt that makes me fearful of being judged.

Aww! I'm sorry it came out that way! I really don't think I'm better than anyone. I really don't judge others for what they eat or shopping at Target. I love fast food and Target. It's my own personal issue (with caring too much about what others think).

Maybe because I grew up poor and was bullied, maybe because I never "fit in" and was bullied. I admit, sometimes I post things and realize later they come out totally wrong.

I promise I am the last person to think I'm better than anyone else.

I'm considering not starting BC at all. We ideally want to start trying when S is 1. Considering the fertility mess we went through to get pregnant the first time, I think it would be a blessing to get KO naturally. Yes, being pregnant again SO soon would suck...but the end result is well worth it. MH is in camp BC until S is 1....decisions, decisions. I tell myself that it probably wouldn't happen anyway...hell we went 5 years on no bc before starting iui. But Murphy's law always seems to get me.

My good friend had difficulty conceiving her dd. they didn't use bc after she was born because it took so long to get her. They're now having Irish twins!

Sorry, I guess I don't find those things to be mutually exclusive. I do associate unhealthy eating with those things for myself. Like, I think I know better, I should be better, I shouldn't eat this or that, I should at least walk here, instead of driving, etc. It's my own personal issue.

I don't know other peoples lives, so I don't think it would be fair of me to judge them for whatever their dietary choices may be. And I don't really care what others eat anyway. It doesn't affect me.

That said. I am still way too concerned about what others think about me.

  • I'm late to the party today~

    I have 3 confessions today:

    1) I never understood why someone would want to be a SAHM.  Now, despite my massive student loans and 6 years of grad school, I would give it all up if I could SAH. I'm so jealous of those who can.

    2) My DH and I don't sleep in the same rooms.  We take turns putting the RnP in each others room so the other can sleep.     Our bed has a memory foam mattress, and since having LO, I can't sleep on it - it gives me MASSIVE hot flashes.   Soo... we sleep in different rooms and I sleep SO much better.  I know eventually (probably when I can start BC) the hot flashes will stop and I will return to our room, but this works for now.

    3)  I can't remember what my third FC was.... however I will disclose that I have been watching Will and Grace reruns on WE all week and eating Oreos...
  • @LJUTCMommy - I also like my nice things and am concerned with the image I put out there (hell I suggested pouring the McD's coffee in a starbucks cup).  I just try my best to keep my mouth shut and trust me, I say dumb things plenty.  Just watch season 7 of RHOC every now and then to remind yourself NOT to be like Alexis Bellino.
