We are exactly one week apart and we've been friends for 17 years, we met freshman year of high school. I have two super close best friends, they were my co-maids of honor. The other one is 4 years younger than me and we've been friends for 11 years. We met when we were waitresses at Chili's.

My bff is 2 months older than me and we have been close friends for 6 years.

My previous bff was 1.5 years older than me. We met in college and shared an apartment for a year before I moved in with my boyfriend (DH). We are still friends but drifted apart after college.

I have four friends I'd describe as "bests." Two are the same age as me, two are about a year younger. Two have been close since high school, one I met in college, the fourth I've known for over a decade but just became close with in the past five years.

But I have friends in college through friends who are grandmothers, so I'm not a friend ageist.

Previously, I had two bffs that I was very close with for probably 12 years. One was 11 months older than me, the other 2 months younger. We all had a falling out about 7 years ago, but have slowly rebuilt our friendship since.

We are 9 months apart, she's older. Although I do have to admit that I don't really have a BFF. We don't get to talk on a regular basis because she lives 17 hours away from me. I used to have a BFF then she went all bat shit crazy so there's that. Now I'm sad haha

My BFF is 9 months older than me. We met in biology class our Sophomore year of high school in Indiana.

We lived together in college, we lived together after we graduated and moved to Chicago. Now we live about 15 minutes away from each other in the western burbs of Chicago. I don't know what I'd do without her!!

My BFFs are both close in age. One is 2 weeks younger than me, the other is 5 months older than me. We all high school together. We've been friends since high school and 6th grade, respectively.

Neither one live in my city, but the one that is an hour away, we get together as often as our lives allow and the other one is further away, so we don't see each other as often. But when I need anyone for anything, they're always there for me.

Mine too. My BFF and I were friends since 5th grade and the summer after we graduated she moved to Arizona and never told me she was leaving or said goodbye. I ran into a mutual friend that told me she left. People suck.

My bff is eleven months older than I am. Our moms were college roommates, and our dads were best friends. My dad went on a couple of dates with her mom and it didn't work out; her mom then introduced my dad to my mom and the rest is history. So we've known each other since birth (almost 34 years).

I have 4 "bests". One I met in middle school, lived with in college and we are still close despite many miles, she is about 6 months younger than me. Two I met on the first day of college and one is exactly six months to the day older than me and the other is again, about six months younger than me. We are also still close despite the miles. My other bestie I have known for 5 years and she is 9 years older than me. We talk everyday via IM or in person.

I have 4 BFFs from childhood we are all within about 10 months apart in age. The one I am closest with I have known since birth....so almost 32 years.

My other 2 BFFs are from college and have known them for 12 years.

The sad thing is that all my BFFs live 3+hrs away from me so I don't see them nearly as much as I would like.

I don't really have a BFF anymore. My longest friend (since 7th grade) was a little over a month younger than me. We haven't talked in almost 4 years. It's a long story.

My next longest BFF (since 10th grade) was a little over 2 months older than me, but a grade under. I don't even know how we lost touch, but I haven't talked to her in forever. I keep meaning to look her up and catch up.

My college BFFs are all around my age, just a few months here and there difference. We all lost touch after college. They were in my wedding but after that we had a hard time keeping in touch.
