Re: Pro of June Baby

  • Baby is due a week before my
31st bday. Please baby come before then! (My first was 8 days late) also,
glad to not have another newborn traveling for holidays and flu season.

  • LOVE the pro about indulging in holiday meals! Awesome! DH is a teacher and this baby is literally perfectly timed with his summer vacation. If all goes well, we will get a summer together as a family :)

  • I am excited to be due in June because my husband will be off of work for approximately three months to help me (he is a high school teacher). If we have a boy, we will be naming him after DH's dad. His dad's bday is in June...really close to our due date! The possibility of baby being born on a family bday is pretty awesome! Love the June bug nickname. I may steal it!

  • We are due June 11, but will be induced between 37 and 39 weeks so that means we are either going to have a late May or an early June baby. Our anniversary is June 13 and my birthday is June 3. I always loved being a late Spring (summer in Texas where I'm from) kid so I hope this one loves it too. Also, I second being able to get out and enjoy the summer.
  • So I can have both my babies home with me during the summer! My older DD's last day of 1st grade is 5/30!

  • I'm a teacher! Planned out perfectly! Plus, my birthday and out anniversary are in June too! Fun month to celebrate!!
  • Who doesn't love having your maternity leave be all summer long?!?! That's the one thing I'm most excited about is being home with all 4 of the kids for the summer!
  • I'm a teacher! haha.

Same here! Due the last week of school :)

  • I am a June baby and I loved it! You had Christmas, then 6 months later you had a birthday! It seemed really balanced to me. Plus, you never had to go to school on your birthday. I'm just hoping my little June Bug makes it until then, my daughter came six weeks early and we never figured out why!

  • We are due June 15. Father's Day. Which just seems sooo perfect. Also, I wanted a baby close to 4th of July cause the party is always set for birthdays every year. We have bbq's every year and can see fireworks in our backyard. Just seems like the perfect time. Hubby's bday is June 3. With lots of geminis on his side. So having a cancer will be nice :)
  • I live in Australia so it's gonna be the middle of winter which I'm actually excited about
  • Well I'm a teacher so a HUgE pro is no maternity leave!!!!!
  • I'm also a teacher. My due date is just after school is out for summer, so luckily I'll be able to stay for most of the year. My bday is also in June and I loved having a summer bday - hope my little one does too!

  • I'm just happy to be pregnant again.  I wouldn't care what month baby is due.  However, having said that, here are my June "pros"
    • DH is a CPA, so baby comes after the craziness of tax season.  He'll be around a lot to help.
    • Getting outside and taking walks.
    • Not being cold/flu season.
    • Good spacing for B-day/Christmas gifts.  DS is a December baby, so he gets tons of gifts in a 2 week span, and that's it.  I have to hide stuff and pull it out throughout the year.  Even mom needs new toys to keep from going crazy.
    • Not having to listen to people saying "Aw, poor kid, his birthday will always be lumped with Christmas."
