Why are you excited to have a June baby? Can be big or small reason.

One reason I am happy is because no one in my immediate family has a June birthday/Anniversary, etc. June is a pretty low key month for us unlike April which has 5 birthdays.

And June Bug is cute nickname until we find out gender.

I will be on maternity leave until after Labor Day...basically have the entire summer off!

Because I had DD in August during a record heat summer......and I will meet this baby BEFORE it gets hot.  HALLELUJAH!

DS is born in June, so we know what to expect. It's also nice since my birthday, our wedding anniversary and DH's birthday are all within 3 weeks in the fall, so it's nice to not have anything else big in that same time frame.

Loved how am not super pregnant in the cold of the winter or the heat of the summer, and LO will be able to tuck under my big winter jacket in a carrier when it's cold.

I am excited because it means I will miss the summer heat! We also don't have any June birthdays in my family, so that will be nice!

I had DS in September...in Alabama. July and August were absolute torture.

I am like the exact opposite. My birthday and my niece's are both on the 17th. DH is the 21st. My other niece is the 1st. There is a decent chance of double birthday but DS was a month early so I would be happy if this one would last to full term even if it was born on my birthday. I think a June birthday will be nice since I won't have to worry about snow on the way to the deliver but at the same time I'll skip the whole hot pregnant summer. Plus we'd be able to go outside right away for walks rather than being cooped up by the cold.

I'm excited for my baby's birthday to be in June so they can have pool party and warm weather birthday parties! It's so much nicer than a birthday in jan or feb

Good timing for daycare. I'll take three months off and go back to work in September, when transitions happen and slots open up in the infant room, meaning we hopefully won't have to pay to hold a spot before we need it.

SIL's birthday is 6/23, DH's is 6/26 and DD was born 6/27, so we have lots of June birthdays already! I loved having a June baby....I had the entire summer off, could take lots of walks outside since the weather was warm, and I could get away with flip-flops at the end of my pregnancy since my feet were so swollen and none of my shoes fit.

Trust me ladies, it's a really great time of year to have a new baby

It is perfect timing. The summer is my least busiest time of the year workwise which will allow me to be out of the office enjoying our family. Plus DD starts Kindergarten in the fall so when I get ready to go back to work I will only have two in daycare again

A June baby would mean alot to DH and I.  Our EDD is June 11, but our c/s date would probably be 5 days before that -- June 6th -- which is DH's birthday!

Secondly, DH is a teacher so he would be able to take his leave and then have the entire summer off with me and our LO.

It's my first baby so it will be nice to get the hang of loading a kid into a car seat when it's warm instead of freezing! I also think it will be easier to be active and get some air since you can walk the baby in a stroller in June (but not January!)

June is busy in my family, but being due late May/early June should miss a lot of the conflicts. I'm excited to have a little one with a warm weather birthday. My other two are Nov. and January, and it makes birthday parties tough. My birthday is the last day of June, so we could be birth month buddies.

What do you consider a baby born around Mem. Day weekend? Summer or spring? Technically it's spring, but unofficially summer?

It is not around the time we have to buy 80000 other bday/holiday related things. (DD is a November baby and right our pocket is tight with Halloween, Her party, her bday gifts, her 1 year pictures, And Christmas.)

Pros for me are that I can get out quickly for walks in order to heal. With DS it was December and we had to stay cooped up. Another bonus is that it's a month in which we have no family birthdays. With 3 siblings 4 nieces/nephews and 2 kids of my own, that is no easy feat.

18th (Hubby) He has always talked about how awesome it would be to share a Bday with one of our future kiddos..Anddddd Father's day is the 15th so I have my fingers X that we can make Hubby a Daddy on Father's Day!

I forgot about Father's Day! How perfect!  Maybe we'll still get some flowers on New-Mother's-To-Be-Day (Mother's Day)

I am due June 15th! Which I found out last night is on Fathers day!! My Hubby was pretty excited about that! My dad was born on Mothers day! Haha 4th of July celebrations with new baby! And my bday is in Aug! So baby will be here for that! And baby woll come before the heat! (California mom to be here) Yay! Best year everrr!!

I'm due on our 4 year wedding anniversary and we can say in 4 years we became a family of 4. Also, the weather will be nice, no fears of new baby during flu season, and 1 less hot month to be pregnant during (DD was born on 7/5).

I'm with whoever posted about it being convenient because as a teacher I have June/July off and won't have to take extra time off of work. 

Also..I hear Gemini's are pretty awesome!

Second, I am a teacher we get out of school June 5, I am due June 19!!

So excited to have a June baby. My other two DD's are both May. We cant afford another May baby. It will cost a fortune for birthday parties.

I'm excited to have a baby in the summer when we can have pool parties and stuff and there aren't a lot people in the family with June birthdays so it will be extra special!

Well, my daughter's due date was July 1st, and my estimated due date (per the calculator on this site) is June 2nd. I think it would be kind of cool for their birthdays to be exactly a month a part!

As of my estimation I am due the last day of school! (Another teacher over here ) I'm hoping to make it through to the end of the year and the will use some of my sick time at the beginning of the next school year...extra long summer...woohoo!

June is perfect: I still will fit in my winter coat, won't be pregnant during the worst of summer, we have no other family milestones in that month and as we can go out for walks and fresh air all the time. 

Plus, I'm fortunate to have four months of paid leave -- so I can enjoy all summer and the best part of fall with my little one before going back to work. 

This kid has impeccable timing already.

We purposely waited to skip May since it's our anniversary month. This way I can space out all my kids bday parties without losing my mind we have a sept x3/dec/feb birthdays.
