Hjweber- how big was your DD, my son was 6lbs 9oz...he was brewing to be a gigantic baby, maybe it was a weight issue. Every hospital is different unfortunately. I think 35w is the magic number though. My hospital has a special care nursery within the well baby nursery where they kept him for a day for observation, however I could have him in my room whenever I wanted to. So he did get some special treatment.
Oh, wow. Yeah DD was only 4lb15oz. But you're right, every hospital is different. They did tell me they wanted to make sure that she was gaining weight before sending her home. They are a great hospital and I trust that they did the right thing. It just makes me sad sometimes that we missed out on that experience of leaving the hospital with her.

That makes me feel a bit better and I'm actually aching to hold him in my arms as well, because, like you, I'm quit paranoid of something being wrong with baby at times ^^' Is there anything in particular that scares you most about labor?
Labor it's self scares me. When I loss my son I had to be induced and I would never forget the pain :-/
Re: Wednesday Bedrest Check In
