I love our baby's name. I actually begged my hubby to let me use it! I actually don't even mind when people wrinkle up their noses when they hear it! His name is Kellan.
Dislike it. He is named after his father, so I thought it wouldn't bother me. It's a unisex name, and everyone assumes he's a girl when they hear it. If I had gone with my choice he would be Jeremiah Alexander.
I love his name - Henry. I was teaching my 2 year old niece to call him Baby Hank when I was still pregnant with him. She ended up calling him Baby Hunk, so that's what we call him when we are around my family.
Side note: I'm amazed at how many people that do not know that Hank is a NN for Henry.

@MommyKristin88, do you have a nickname for him that you like better?
I love the name even more now, we picked Juliette. We decided on it the day after she was born. We had narrowed it down to that and Caroline, but with her dark hair we thought she looked like Juliette. I think it suits her perfectly and we get compliments on it constantly.

I couldn't imagine her as anything other than Brynn. We do have to spell it and repeat it frequently, but that's ok. I call her "Bug" mostly, because she is my love bug.
Love her name Lily. I read a book called "lilys crossing" in elementary school. It became my favourite book and my favourite name. Couldn't imagine her with a different name
ETA- I call her frog or bug, she makes cute faces like a little frog..
I love her name! It's Scarlett and it seems to fit her perfectly. Something strange happened today though, when I was at the doctors with her the nurse came in and asked who had named her..I was a little confused and said uhhh, we did..her parents..? Lol she then said well I sure hope she can live up to that name..i didn't get it..lol. Anyone guess what she meant..? Lol. I should have asked.

Maybe like Gone with the wind? Hopefully she didn't mean scarlett letter! Very pretty name.
I still love the name we picked!

Wasn't sure about Benjamin at first because our last name also starts with B and I didn't know if I would like it. But now that he's born I love it! I also love calling him his baby Ben/ Benny nicknames :-)
With Lucas, I was heavily medicated (c/s) and it took me several days to adjust to his name. I kept thinking it was made up. Those were some good drugs. Lol
Dh originally suggested Carolyn. I liked Elizabeth. When we saw her, we just knew. Carolyn fits her perfectly. I call her care bear when no one is around so it can be my nickname for her.
Absolutely love our LOs name and everyone comments in how much they love it, which surprises me. I thought most people wouldn't be so sure about it.
She definitely suits it, as much as a baby can, but we also call her monkey or chiggles (I don't know why!!) a lot so I have to remember to call her by her name regularly so we all get used to it.
TTC Since March 2010 - 2 angel babies - BFP December 12 EDD 12 Aug 13
Mason definitely suits him! Mason may be a popular name, but I think it is a strong name that will be around for a long, long time. My little guy is strong and I don't even think about it associating with the kardashians. We have gotten a lot of compliments on his name, Mason Lewis. I love it
I still love her first name (Autumn) although I'm second guessing the double middle name. It's a bit of a mouthful but we wanted to honor two of the strongest women in our family.
I love the name Luke but I'm not sure how well it "fits" him.
My LO is named Luke as well! I still love the name but hardly ever call him by name. I usually use a few different nicknames like Mr Man and other silly ones. I've been trying to use his name more often to get more used to it. I kind of agree about being unsure how well it fits him, but I think it's a name he will grow into well.
I also think my opinion is based on how people say his name. The annoying loud pitched "Luuuuuke" when they are trying to get his attention or wake him up X( drives me nuts. But my BIL said "see ya, Luke" the other day, and I liked the way it sounded so much more!

Sorry that got long!
I find it funny to hear peple say Luuuuuuuuuuke because it sounds like the line from Star Wars, and DH and I love that movie.
LO name fits her well and we get lots of compliments on it. I call her Quinnlyn Grace or just Quinnlyn. Sometimes I call her Dolly as a nickname. She might have been an Avery but it didn't fit.
I love his name and have for years as it's a family name, but I'm not sure yet if it's right for him. We get great feedback though! We call him Jack Jack or Jackie most of the time.
Our next boy will definitely be a Jonathan. That's the name I keep thinking about even now!
Awww! Jack is our boy name! I'm really excited to use it!
We both hate his first name. We may actually change it. He has a family name. Not only does he not look it at all, my family has shown their true colors.
His middle name is Isaac. We call him that a lot. If we decide to go through with the name change, he'll be Malcolm Isaac.
My LO is Malcolm and it's a great name. Classic, yet underused, and never any problems with people spelling or pronouncing it wrong
Due with #5 April 22, 2015. It's a girl!!!!!
Yes it was planned, yes we know what causes that, no we are not on public assistance, and yes we will be getting cable after this.
Days late but I was thinking about this thread last night. I LOVE her name but it doesn't quite "fit" her yet. I think she will grow into it. Zoey Elizabeth. Zoey means life in Greek and I feel like after I met DF I got a second chance at life and she made it all that much more wonderful. I also didn't realize how popular zoey was until just about everyone I've told her name to has a family member or friend who just named their baby zoey. Ooh well.
I love Lexi and it fits her so well. In the beginning I had to remind myself her name was really Alexandra but now I am used to it.
I do this with Finn, I forget it's actually Finley most days. We had a few names picked, and his name certainly suits him but I'm sad to not use the other one.
Re: How do you feel about LO's name now?
We just got his first monogrammed item (a baby blanket) from a family friend today and I think that made it sink in that that is his name.
BFP 3/29/2014 2u2 Let's do this!
Claire
Love it.
Side note: I'm amazed at how many people that do not know that Hank is a NN for Henry.
Yes, we call him Trey since he is the third.

Love her name
It suits her and I'm excited to see her grow into it even more.
Had our precious baby girl, Little Miss E, on August 14, 2013 ♥ 143 → I.love.you. ♥
