Like I said I comment on others as well but do you look at everyone's post to see who is sharing ? You don't know what I do... I work a full time job and on my down time I post I comment I share thought that was what this community was for...

I have no idea why you wanted to post a video on a board you barely participate in besides to get attention. And you did that. We are not a unit, bc you don't actually participate in this board. I'm just getting caught up on all the posts from this week, and I choose this to read at 6:something in the morning... WAY too early for exposed bellies.

OP, you're very pretty and congrats on the baby boy. I guess I just sort of feel like I don't need to see any other pregnant stomach besides my own. Even my own I don't really want to look at.

I totally agree with the rudeness on this site and it's normally the same girls who obviously have nothing else to do! It's suppose to be a site for support and advice and some people really don't know the answers to their stupid repetitive questions! I don't get why some on here feel the need to be so ugly!! OP like I said your pictures and video were awesome and it's a shame people have made you feel poorly about something that is so exciting!

When has OP been beat down? From my recollection when she first joined and posted a bump pic, we told her that we do a weekly bump post HDBD, and she was very appreciative of the advice.

Now with this video, the consensus is that it's not something we are used to seeing and not something 99% of us would do. But I think most agree she looks great and in no way were we beating down the way she looked. Just pointing out that this is definitely not the norm on this board. ANDplusalso OP admitted she was trying to see it that way so she doesn't need you coming to white knight for her and twisting everyone's words.

ETA: ugh, now I regret typing his much. :::eye roll, sigh::::

Lelab2003 As has been stated before, you look great, but your video is weird IMO. I honestly felt like with the music choice on the video that I was about to watch some weird soft-core pregnancy porn. Real glad that wasn't the case. If you like it, great. If you think your son will want to watch it some day without feeling weirded out, cool. However, I can only remember two posts from you; Your random posting of your bump on a day other than HDBD, and this post. Both of which lead me to believe you're fishing for compliments on how you look. If I could remember your participation in a single thread other than these, I would be a little less likely to think you're just being vain. Because of this, I dislike the video even more.

OP trust me when I say no one was coming at you sideways. I know from first hand experience. Nothing wrong with opinions here. If you only wanted someone to blow sunshine up your a$$ you should have just sent the video to family and friends. Posting on a message board is bound to get you feedback you may not like. I personally thinks it's a little odd to share with the Internet but as you said " to each thier own". On aside note it may be cool to make a to be continued version showing you with your LO at the end for you and your family to have as a keepsake

Please don't call me any names I apologize for offending anyone....but in the urban community where I'm from this style is common with and without extensions....like previously stated the comment was directed to the person I quoted....and I also stated that her hair was nice and I had the same hair style as well....

I don't think so. My friends who get weaves are pretty up-front about it. Just because you have a weave doesn't mean you don't have great hair without one, at least in my experience.

My understanding is this: if someone has a good weave, you can't tell it's a weave. If you comment that you think someone has a weave, it's basically saying that their hair looks bad, not natural.

I don't think it's an insult so much as not really necessary to point out in response to somebody saying you have nice hair. She obviously meant it to be rude, based on the way she wrote the sentence...no matter what her backpedaling says now.
