I am having the opposite experience, I have had the most intense frequent movement. I'm 19 weeks and today my mom even felt the baby. Should I be worried? I just started going to the bathroom regularly too and I swear I think its because LO is punching it out. Ok joking (or am I?).
I think I'm carrying very low and my uterus is pressed up really close to my skin since I had a lot of ligament stretching pain too.
Mine hasn't been that intense but, it too can be really strong at times. Also, I have had a lot of ligament stretching so bad that I have been woken in the night because of it. I think it's exciting that my husband can feel the baby I never stopped to think that that might not be normal...good for thought now.
I'm at 20 weeks and so far feeling some rolling and movement but no jabs or kicks I don't think. Someone mentioned the ligament stretching. I'm having pain in the front lower part of my abdomen, is that what that is? Pretty painful, feels almost muscular but sharp pain, so that's what I attributed it to. I'm sporting a pretty small bump right now so I'm thinking my uterus is finally trying to stretch out.
I'm a FTM and felt her rolling for the first time at 17 weeks 6 days. I feel her rolling mostly in the evening and pretty much all night. She must be a night owl, lol. I have felt about 3 definite kicks over the last 5 or so days. I imagine that will become more frequent soon.
Went to a Drag Show at a gay club last night and felt kicks from my baby (for only the second time) Not sure if that means LO loved it or hated it. Maybe I should name him/her after a queen? Lol, just kidding. Prada and Dramatica are NMS.
I am stm and i had felt movement a little early on and it has been progressing. the last few days though its been very little to non, so i am feeling extremely anxious but have had no sighns of possible situations, so i will wait until A/S on the 7th...
Movement (or my perception of it)declined yesterday. I'm sure that everything's okay, no cramping, no bleeding. It's so interesting to read what others feel and when (or not yet). As an overweight FTM I thought it would be much later for me. Now, the DR. Hasn't yet been able to pick up HB on Doppler but says he hears her kicks and the US confirms she's active and measures a 150 HR. But I hate when he pulls out the Doppler because I know he can't find it thru all my excess belly fat.
I felt the first movements at 16w0d, which felt like popcorn popping. I'm a FTM, so I'm surprised I felt something so soon. Now at 19w3d, I'm feeling obvious kicks/punches and could actually see my belly move over the weekend...but I'm certain I'm the exception. My doctor told me not to expect anything until 18-20 weeks, and even then I may not know that's what I was feeling...hang in there! I'm sure your LO is just fine
I am 21 weeks 2 days today and baby girl is definitely kicking this early morning. I'm delighted she's kicking but wish she had better timing. 4:09 am came early today.
I'm 19weeks 3days...I can't figure out if I'm feeling movement or not. I feel something that kinda feels like a muscle twitch in the area where I think she is, but it could be gas for all I know....
Incredibly jealous of all you mamas that have felt your LO. 20W3D & still impatiently waiting. Can someone please describe what I should be looking for? So far I've just had some pulling in my lower abdomen & sometimes a sharp pain if I make a sudden movement.
I'm 20w6d and have been feeling movement since about 18 weeks. It started out at bubbles and ripples or muscle-twitch feelings and then over the past 1 1/2-2 weeks I've been feeling actual kicks or punches. There are two in there and both have anterior placentas. I thought for sure I wouldn't feel much for a few more weeks, but they are both kicking up a storm as I type! I'm 5'4" and on the thin side (started around 108 and am now up to 125).

I just wanted to say....I feel like this may be unrealistic but reading about losses at this stage in the game is kind of scaring me since I STILL haven't for sure felt movement and if what I think was the baby was really the baby then I haven't felt it in a few days..
I just needed to get that out but didn't want to start a new thread...
I am 22 weeks 5 days and I still cannot say for sure what I feel is baby as I have a lot of gas!! I hadn't felt the gas/baby feelings for a couple days leading up to my A/S that I just had Oct. 2nd and everything is fine. Tech said I have an anterior placenta so I am not so worried anymore. He is healthy. It was hard because my SIL is 5 weeks ahead of me FTM also and she started feeling baby at 18 weeks. Don't worry - everyone is different.

Same here, 22 weeks 2 days with anterior placenta, not much movement yet, except for a little sth here n there, but not definite ones. My doctor said it would atleast be four weeks later then then those who's is not anterior. Not so worried but definitely anxious and waiting for baby to kick hard enough for me to feel even with the placenta between us
We felt our LO move for the first time when we got into bed at 12:30am. I am 20 weeks today. She put on a show for me and her Dad for about 5 minutes. It was amazing
I'm 20 weeks an didn't feel fluttering until my 19week. however, it would come and then go. however my 20th week they are a bit more constant! hang in there you'll cherish those moments and cease the day every little knudge!
Still haven't felt LO but finally got an explanation which eased my nerves. Had the a/s yesterday (which went GREAT - such a relief!) where the doctor told me I have an anterior placenta so there's a barrier between her & me. She's moving around like crazy & using me as her own personal punching bag but it'll take a little longer before I can feel it because there's a cushion to soften the blows!
I started to feel little movements last Sunday (18w 3d). Now, almost a week later the movements have gotten a lot stronger I was able to feel her from the outside last night (19w 1d) several times! DH hasn't felt her yet, every time he tries, she stops moving. I'm so excited! This is several weeks before I felt my son.
That's definitely still a little bit too early. I'm currently 19w 5d pregnant with my first & I didn't feel it kick until my 18th week. You may be feeling it and not know it because in the very beginning for me it just felt like very light movements. My doctor says I have a posterior uterus, which could also explain why I personally can feel it on the outside already. If you don't have a posterior uterus, it could explain why you haven't felt it yet. Hope this helps:)
I'm on my second child.. I felt my son around 18wks but I'm 22 weeks now and just felt my daughter in the last week. I'm also not as big as I was with my son, she's sitting farther back and higher up everyone's different, body shapes and weight.
Ive been feeling baby since about 16 weeks. It has gotten souch stronger now though. This AM i am lying here watching TV and baby is kicking and rolling around like crazy. I can unmistakenly feel it from the outside, it is so amazing
I felt my sun at around 18 wks I'm now 21 weeks and he's very active in the morning feels like a gold fish swimming sometimes it feels like actual kicks.. Best feeling ever just be patient!
anyone else still not feeling kicking?? i thought i felt some kicks at 17ish weeks but seroiusly nothing. i'm not worried but i'm just wondering if there's anyone else. and this is my second!
