Chi, seriously, I'm not someone to ever pick a fight, but don't do this today. You know exactly why you're doing and it is really fucked up. Take it somewhere else. Go torture the Tri boards or something but leave Cash alone.

@cashingn2 I would be very disturbed if I shared my daughter's name and someone said, essentially, 'hey cool, I think I'll use that as well.' Especially if it had family significance and on a hard day. Hugs.

Because it seemed pretty ridiculous that people were giving her a hard time just because she was considering the same baby name as another member. The whole 'name claiming' mentality is irritating to the extreme in real life and idiotic when it comes to an internet message board where none of our children will ever interact.

I didn't realize the original poster was a troll or I wouldn't have said anything.

And I'm sorry today is a rough day for you Cash, now that I know what happened I understand why you were irritated.

I have come up with a first and middle name (compromising between names we each like), but DH is still waffling. He's come around about 90% for the first name (and we will likely go with it unless there is a late entry that we both love better), but I'm still working on him for the middle. He's pissing me off because he won't agree outright, but isn't coming up with any alternatives. Oh well, each day that goes by is one day closer to him forfeiting.

...No, seriously, we picked out names for boy and girl (team green 4 lyfe) and it took a single conversation. Same with Hebrew names. We're weird like that. Now, I'm reconsidering though because DH's last name is Goldman and Proboscis Goldman just made me LOL. Made me think of Zorak from Space Ghost with a yarmulke on.

@gweiners I approve :-) it's my name, and not sure about now, but definitely wasn't common when I was in school :-) to this day, I think I've only met one or two other Lucy's in real life!
