I'm 32 and this is my first. I don't feel old to be starting - it's pretty average for our group of friends. I do have old hs friends with kids that started hs this year, though!
I'm 39 and DH is 45. We had our first when I was 36. I'm glad I'm having kids at this age. I think I'm in a much better place now than when I was in my 20's.

This exactly
I'm also glad I waited until I was in my 30's to have kids.

Me too!! I'll be 34 and my H will be 38 when our first arrives in May. I am so happy we waited & I definitely think we'll be much better parents for it.
DH and I are both 34 and this will be our first. I'll be just turning 35 when the baby's born. When I was young, I thought for sure I'd be married and starting a family by 25. It just took me longer than I expected to find the perfect father for my children...and he was well worth the wait! We've been together for 3 years and married for 1. I'm the oldest of my siblings and will be the first to have a child, and my parents (and DH's, too) have started making it pretty clear that they're VERY ready to be grandparents. I don't feel that old now, but I am concerned about my age b/c I would like to have more kids, and I feel like my time is a little limited at this point.
