I love all of those stories!! I had to get induced with both children, however, with my daughter I started contracting that morning. Now 34 weeks pregnant, im hoping my water breaks aqt an event so I can cause a scene!!!:) Plus I believe my water has been leaking. My Dr said to go to the ER but I don't want to get induced if so. Im going to wait till my apt on Monday:)

I would love it if this one would come out at 38 weeks like my first 2 kids. but all the following babies waited till the full 40 weeks; #3, 4, 5, 6....now sitting at 35 weeks w/ #7. so sick of pregnancies I could puke---oh wait, that was the entire 1st trimester (everytime)

Both of mine were born at 41+2 naturally. My first, my water broke at 41+1 and she was born the next day, my second was only a 3.5 hour labor in the early morning.

I was induced a month early because I was leaking amniotic fluid. My DS was born at 35 weeks 6 days. He stayed in NICU for 6 days.

FTM - 39 weeks 1 day. I thought for sure I'd go over my due date being my first baby, as is the old wives tale. However, little girl decided it was time, and we couldn't have been happier!

39w2d I waited all Sunday night having contractions thinking that I'd just go to my OBGYN Monday morning. I took a shower at 3am to distract myself, got dressed, and sat/laid all over the place trying to get comfortable until morning!! At 5 my DH talked me into going to hospital!!

41 weeks, 1 day after a 47 hour long induction. My cervix was thick and closed tight when I went it to be induced and it took cervadil, a foley balloon, pitocin and breaking my water to go into labor. DD wanted to stay put forever.

I am not sure what happened to the poll but I will answer anyways.

I am a FTM and I delivered my son in August at 40 weeks, 4 days. I had scheduled my induction for the following week after having my doctors appointment. A few hours later, I went into labor. Hahaha.

They do say FTMs are late. For me it was true but I have known others to go before their due date. My little guy had his own plans. ;-) One never knows!
