"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
Here are just a few. we were married in June 2010. It's been awhile since i've taken a look at our wedding pictures! Everyone looks soooo beautiful in their pictures!
@ccip82 - is it just fascinators? What about hats?
One thing I miss about the UK is the ability to take a random day, get dolled up and go watch polo, horse racing or whatever..... Here's me at Ascot in a new hat (P.s. ever time I went into John Lewis, I tried on hats!)
@Dishylo Aghhh! I love the hats too I seem to look better in the fascinators-but that hat looks gorgeous on you!! I wish we lived closer to England so I could go to Ascot.I love getting dressed up and drinking

@ccip82 - That is what I miss about the UK. Vancouver is so casual, too casual really. People here still walk around in Lululemon pants and hoodies and nobody gets dressed up to go out for dinner. I'm off to the UK this Friday, a weeks worth of business next week - I'm just upset that I won't be able to wear my lovely collection of work heels and I won't be able to drink!!! It'll be a very different trip, that's for sure.
Have a great trip! Even though you cannot drink and wear heels At least you might have time to do a bit of shopping and maybe a spa treatment or two? I am off to a weekend getaway this weekend with a couple of my girlfriends. I picked the hotel solely based on the fact it had a great spa...This will be my last weekend away with the girls for a while so if I can't drink I might as well relax kid free in another way!
I"m not big on posting pics of myself online, but I loved my wedding pictures so much I will make an exception! This is actually one that our best man took. We got married in Bucks County, PA in November, 2009.
DH and I got married on 6-22-12 in NYC. It was during a heat wave and it poured down rain, but was a beautiful day :-) attached are a few pictures ((mobile bumping))
Aww! These are great! I want to play too! My favorite pic of DH and I, bridal party, recessional, outside the chapel we got married in and our first dance

we got married in April of '09 at a plantation in St. Francisville, LA called Rosedown. We did the ceremony outside by 2 fountains, in a gazebo in their huge garden area with flowers blooming all around. I loved it. I carried the same pearl encrusted bible my mother carried in her wedding and the same handkerchief she and both my brothers carried. My engagement ring was made especially for my great aunt by her father (a jeweler) and has my grandmothers diamond in it.
This is my dress and veil.
Us kissing outside the plantation house
Hanging out on the porch.
My nephew's face when we told him the ring bearer had to kiss the flower girl.
We used my grandmothers antique fan collection instead of bouquets.
A little sexy time...this kiss still makes me shiver!
We got married twice.... The first time we got hitched on the back of a boat at sunset....we eloped and didn't have time or money for a ceremony. The second time was in the mountains for family and friends as most has never met before because of our immigration situation.... Both were beautiful!!!
I love seeing everyone's wedding pics! I want to play, but all of mine are print copy (8 years ago digitals were not the norm) and I would have to dig the box out and scan them

Everyone's pics are gorgeous. This one is of me and DH a year ago. We got married in a remodeled mansion near the Delaware river. This pic was taken on an old one way wooden bridge!
We got married on New Year's Eve (12.31.11) at the Joseph Ambler Inn in North Wales, PA. We lived in VA at the time, but all of my family is from the East Coast so we decided to do it there. Plus, I'm obsessed with colonial history and it's a B&B with houses from the 1700's. BEST. DAY. EVER.
Our entrance song into the reception was "Hail to the Chief." DH works in public service and everyone burst out laughing when we walked in because he was doing the thumbs up and political wave - it's one of my favorite moments
So beautiful! I live about 15 minutes from there and am IN LOVE with all of the old farm houses around here. I actually made our Realtor take us in one that was right down Horsham Rd from that Inn when we were house hunting. It was at the top of our budget and needed total renovation, but I had to just walk around in it and imagine, lol.
So I just want to preface this by saying that I lost 50 pounds about a year after getting married, so I look significantly different now! We had a destination wedding in Punta Cana, we had 30 guests come down with us. It was beautiful!
ETA: trying to figure out TinyPic!!
@KaitiMac We moved here for my husband's work. We're both from NJ, I'm from the central shore area, Howell, and my husband is from East Brunswick, up near Rutgers.
