I've been missing for a few days because on Friday we had our wedding celebration, and I'm so happy it's over!!! Ever since I found out we were pregnant, I've been freaking out about how huge I'd be, but you couldn't tell at all. (My mom says I carry like her, so yay for good genes!) My dress was also the most perfect dress for my growing belly, and I picked out the dress months before bfp. So it all worked out.
We all had a good time, the only thing that sucked was not being able to get a little tipsy! =( Oh, well. I have three sisters, so when they get married I will make up for that! ![]()
Some background on the series of events: DH and I have been together since college. We started dating in April 2009, got engaged in January 2013, BFP in May 2013, courthouse wedding on June 29, 2013, and the marriage celebration on September 6, 2013. We've been all over the place, but we are so happy together!
Most of our guests knew we have been married for a little while, but no one--except for immediate family--knows about the baby. One of my good friends figured it out becasue he kept asking me what I was drinking (he knows I would have been drunk by the end of the night). lol. It won't be much of a secret for long, anyway.
It was so nice to celebrate with our family and friends, but it is so nice for it all to be over. I can now focus on just being a mom-to-be, no longer a bride-to-be!
Here are a few pics from Friday! (at 21 weeks pregnant!)

Thanks!! It took five hours for my sister's friend to straighten my hair. I'm biracial--my hair is really curly and kinda thick--so I'm revelling in my beautiful, long, silky, straight hair before I wash it and it goes back to curly! lol
It usually doesn't take that long to straighten, but the way this girl did my hair was crazy. It has never been so silky and flowy, so it was totally worth the five hours...plus, DH LOVES it! hehehe
