cranky bedtime rant

I've always been slightly cranky before I go to bed if I'm overtired but pregnancy has turned me into an angry beast. No neighbors I did not buy a house just so you could be a*holes and play your music so loud at night that it shakes. I hate you and want to go to bed! Rant over thanks for letting me vent...

    I've been dreaming about doing that for weeks but I looked at my county's noise ordinance and they can be as loud as they want until 11pm:(

    But I almost got in my car to creep around the neighborhood to find out exactly where it's coming from.

    Call the police when I was younger my parents did it every weekend.

    We have people down the street who still light off fireworks a couple nights a week. Umm hello 4th of July was months ago! It wouldn't bother me as much if it didn't wake DS off. I'm not a police calling person, but I almost have a few times!

    I'm sorry your neighbors are annoying!! Hopefully it's just a one time thing!!

    Our neighbors in the house behind us do Karaoke every Sunday night starting at 11:30.  I can, luckily, sleep through just about anything, but it keeps DH awake.  He called and reported a noise complaint every week for over 2 months.  They have put their house up for sale.

    For the record, we weren't trying to get them to move, just wanted them to turn the music down on a Sunday night.

    Oh the joys of living in the country, our closest neighbors are at least a football field away. Also  a lot of the neighbors are old and one of them is chief of police, life in the country is good. :) I highly recommend it.

    I envy you! We have a half acre in a ruralish neighborhood in va. Yes I do realize that it's not truly rural, but after living in surburbia and Albany (city)Ny....it's just so angrivating because it's only one house. The rest of our neighbors are saints and their main lights start goin off the same time as ours. 9pm. Idk that was like the "time" growing up. You know, No more phone calls, visitors over, and get ready for bed, when you're kids. I think it's good neighbor etiquette:)
