So f*cking strange. Lets make an agreement to be done with this shiz by Sunday... cool? Maybe your cervix could talk to my cervix and if they both make the jump together they won't be as scared. I am also 0cm, btw. (Obviously I am still sleep deprived)
Yes, they need to get together and have a frank discussion about their fears of opening up. Lol. They need to let loose and let things happen. I feel a lite creepy for writing that, but I need to joke about this subject.
It's not the middle of the night anymore but I'm going to post this here anyways.
I'm glad my OB doesn't do cervical checks until 38-39 weeks. I know they mean nothing and that it's just going to hurt, but after having contractions for a week I'm curious as hell. Going to my OB appt today and not having him even ask helped me stick to my guns about it.
On another note, being miserable as fuck and having someone tell you it's normal feels like a giant kick to the vag. I know it's true, but it feels a lot like "Yeah, you're miserable, NBD." And my 8.5 month pregnant self thinks its a big deal.
::end hormonal, sleep deprived rant::
The only thing that makes being told your pain is NBD or will be over soon (someone will get stabbed if I hear that again today) is when it comes from a man. I don't even want to see a male doctor anymore because they have no damn clue what it is like and should shut the hell up.
@Loppy: I am hoping you come back progressed when they check. I was mid-NST and registering contractions that had (at the time-three weeks ago) been going hard for 4-5 days. He came in a checked me mid contraction and said "welp, zero". Heart broken. But you've been contraction for like 4 weeks correct??
