DS was (and still is) Bean. LO is currently beantwo/beanette. My mom and I call it beanette because we are just wishing it to be a girl I'll be fine with a healthy beantwo though

We got nothing. Mostly it is referred to as "it." Sometimes "the baby."

H heard "Cletus the fetus" somewhere and thought it was funny. I shut that down real quick.

We had a lot of fun brainstorming nicknames a few weekends ago when visiting friends. Some suggestions were bizarre! We ended up with "Ziggy", as in Ziggy Stardust, the David Bowie song & persona. DH actually bough a David Bowie greatest hits CD the other day, too. Ha!

When DH saw the first u/s, he started calling it "Flipper". I don't like it but it makes him happy and it has its cute moments. I call it whatever fruit it is.

We call this one Weapon X (or Wolverine) because of a boys name discussion we had early on with the stepkids.

The baby we lost last year was Bosephus because DH always joked about that being the name he wanted for our child.

I call it Tiny Human. DH hasn't really given it a nickname. Once we find out the gender I'm sure it will be given a better nickname like 5.0 if it's a boy because my hubby is 4.0 and his dad is 3.0.

Mostly new baby (dd is almost 1) but sometimes I call it junior. Even though we don't know gender, we have discussed a baby boy being dh's name junior. Dh is hoping for a boy, I'm happy with either!

DD was The Swirls/Swirls/Swirly Pie cause she is a mixed kid (we are very politically incorrect). We still call her Swirls sometimes.

We call ours Baby Chicken - at our first ultrasound, you could only really see the yolk sac & a tiny HB flutter. The sac as a whole kind of looked like a beak, & DH joked that maybe I was going to have a chick. The name has stuck, even though the ultrasounds now make it clear it'll be a human, haha.

When ever I am explaining to someone about why I feel the way I feel I say its because I have a hitchhiker.. I think its funny, lol.

But, If I am talking about the baby to DH I usually just say "Baby'.. pretty original, lol
