Fresh hell= talking to HR and trying to get answers.
I am a SAHM and work pre-dawn hours part time so I can bring the health insurance home and still be home with the kids.
So right now, what I have been told is that nobody wants to pay STD, so whatever leave I take, would be unpaid, unless it's unused vacation. I do qualify for FMLA, which is pretty mich job protection, and since my 'disability' spans two calendar years, I could probably get more than I ordinarilt would. We'll see- no reply email in 5 days.

12 weeks unpaid but DH and I have been saving since we found out and are ready!! I requested the week before she's due. I'm going to try to pull through till the end but we'll see how it all plans out.

6 weeks of short term disability and probably 2 weeks of vacation time.

8 minimum, but likely 10. This is unpaid FMLA but about 3.5 weeks of this are vacation days and saved sick days, which I hope I don't need to use before then!!!!!

With DS I took 7 months.  2 weeks before birth and 4 weeks after birth were paid, everything else was unpaid but they held my job for me.  I know that I was very fortunate to get this--I appreciated every single minute of that leave!

This time around I'm a SAHM soooooo no days off from my toddler-watching job.  haha.  But DH will have about 3 weeks off, which is helpful.

8-10 paid but I might try to stretch it out to 12.  I'm due the Monday after Thanksgiving so I'm hoping to work until that Wednesday, then off for Thanksgiving and the day after.  Then BAM!  She'll be here that Monday!  Yeah right....;)

I went out July 30th, but I'm on short term disability for horrific pelvic pain.  I'll have 8 weeks of disability after my c-section, 6 weeks after that of baby bonding (paid by the State at the same rate as disability), and then an additional 6 weeks of unpaid baby bonding.  I'll go back to work when my little guy is 20 weeks old.

10 weeks. I will get 6 or 8 weeks at 100% on STD depending on the type of birth and take the rest unpaid under FMLA.

12w. Mostly unpaid, I'll have some sick time I can use. I will also receive one week of holiday pay.

    With DS I took 8w.

Jealous, I lose my holiday pay. Which sucks because if the manufacturing plants shut down its usually several days of pay! Last year we had 10 days of paid vacation!

I plan to take 10 weeks, 6-8 of it will be 60% pay. The rest will be vacation I have saved up. I have almost 5 weeks at this point!

My plan is 8 weeks, using my sick and vacation time.  I then plan on going back part time for a month before returning to full time.  I've been saving up to do part time for awhile before transitioning back into full time.

10 weeks. 8 will be paid by std and I will have more vacation time after the 1st of the year so I will probably use 1 week of that. I will only go 1 week unpaid if that all goes to plan.

My work is very flexible schedule-wise but the benefits suck. I have about 5 weeks of PTO saved up that I will stretch over 6 weeks unpaid leave. Depending on how delivery and postpartum go, I may stretch it even further to 8 weeks unpaid leave.
