I hesitate to come up with names bc we ended up changing DDs after she was born (yep its true and im glad we made the decision to change it) ... but I also cant help thinking about it! DH likes Camden or Hudson for a boy, I like lincoln. For a girl I want to stay in the flower/tree/nature theme.
My husband and I are not seeing eye to eye on names. He wants our child to get teased and beaten up daily. His boy choice: Lincoln Xavier. I like the name Cameron for a boy and Addison for a girl.
Our girl name is Scarlett Eisele (EYES-lee). Scarlett has always been my favorite name.
We haven't settled on a boys' name. We have a couple family names from my side we might use, and several favorites. We haven't gotten to use boys' names yet, so the list seems to grow... Some of my favorites are Atticus, Byron, Sebastian, Clark, Jude and Lars.
We've talked a little about names, but I am so picky about them! Partly because, like a previous poster, I am a teacher. There are hardly any boys names that I like, for some reason, and even the ones I like I'm not crazy about. I have a couple girls' names that I love, one of which my husband also likes....so if it's a girl it will be easy!
A boy would be David Robert. David is my husbands name and his fathers name, Robert is my father and grandfather. A girl is more difficult, we used the one we agreed on DD. Leaning to Hannah, Lily or Lucy. Middle name as yet undecided.
So we had fun talking about it tonight. Boy names are SO hard for us...we ended up searching more and we both like Roman and Elijah. For a girl our top three are Lillian, Scarlett and DH realllly loves Avery...middle name Grace for all three.
We've hardly started talking about names yet. I know it's going to be a battle. DH is sooo picky!
The names I like for a girl are: Mae, Madeline, Emmeline, Mara, Wren, Violet with a MN of Kathryn or Josephine. The problem is some of the combos would be a mouthful. I could always use Mae or Wren as MN too. For boys, I have a hard time really liking many names at all. The ones that stand out for me so far are Josiah, Eli or Elias with MN probably being Edward after DH. DH's contributions have been Lewis or Jack for a boy and Mary for a girl.
Lord help us when we actually have to agree on a name!

We have not discussed names at all since getting BFP... I do have a name list (link is below in siggy) that have been some of my favorites for a while. I've told DH them here and there but nothing was decided upon.
Married: 2012 --- BFP: 2013 - Little Miss arrived: 2014 --- BFP #2: 2015 - EDD: 2/2016 (Team Green)
We made a top 20 list of names that we both like. 20 girl names, 20 boy names. So before there was the pressure of being pregnant, we had a foundation that we liked. For this baby we picked from our list the boy names Leo Henry and we like Isla Elizabeth and Piper for a baby girl. We're not telling anyone though. If you spill your name before baby comes people can rip it to shreds. But if you introduce your baby as .... People will chose to love the name (except for some seriously messed up mother in laws maybe).
I have a girl's name that I'm pretty attached to --Fiona Rose
DH likes it, but he keeps coming up other suggestions. The only other suggestion that I've liked so far from him is Avery Rose.
For a boy, the only name that I like so far is Max William (after my Grandpa). DH has already vetoed this one though. He keeps calling the baby Axel (he's a big Guns and Roses fan). I like Axel for a middle name, but not so sure about it for a first name.
Whenever we finally decide, I think we are going to keep the name to ourselves. When my Mom had me, her family gave her such a hard time for wanting to name me Dana. (It was the early 80's and more common as a boy's name). I just don't want to deal with that stress!
I'm looking at the approved naming list for the country I live in (and ds or dd will grow up in) and I just found the name Hilaríus for a boy. Yup, that's hilarious. Or how about Ljótur, which means ugly? If your bored...check it out

Drengir is boy Stúlkur is girl!
@DaniSara21 I love Jonah, but agree it's much to similar to Noah, so we've settle on Jonas. That won't help you though, sorry. Maybe try nimbler or the name board to get some suggestions. Maybe you'll have a girl too though!
Mom to Emma, Noah, Isaac, Asa, Asher, Jonah and expecting baby Alice 7/16
So far we've narrowed it down to two girls names: Sloane and Rowan
Boys names are proving to be very difficult. We both like Oliver but its becoming so popular that I'm afraid there will be 3 other Oliver's in his class. I like the name Dane but DH refuses to use it bc he has a second cousin named Dane. He likes Drake and I'm undecided on that.
I literally went through the top 3000 names list and couldn't pick 10 I liked for boys out of it.
@Rrrrrachel Its kinda like school uniforms. You lose some ability to do whatever you want, but gain freedom in not having to worry about what to wear (or name.) Luckily, a lot of my favorite names are in their Icelandic form on the list. I looooove Lydia for a girl. Some of the names I can't pronounce, so, obviously they're out. LOL :-)
Virginia Madison (DH went to Virginia Tech and I went to James Madison)
Dean Alexander
ETA: We would not call her Virginia. She would be Gina or Ginny
Go Dukes!! When did you graduate?!
I like Arden & Brooklyn for a girl. I like Cohen & Reid for a boy. My girl names I have liked forever, but I feel like I'm constantly changing for a boy. Hubby and I won't actually discuss names until we know the gender.
My husband and I are not seeing eye to eye on names. He wants our child to get teased and beaten up daily. His boy choice: Lincoln Xavier. I like the name Cameron for a boy and Addison for a girl.
Why would your son get teased for the name Lincoln??? Our son's name is Lincoln and we've never met anyone who doesn't absolutely love it...to each his own I guess

Boy... Ethan Lucas or Landon Michael Girl... I already have a Haley Anne and Natalie Marie I'm not sure at all for a girl. Alexis and Sadie Jane were on our list from before. I think I like Mallory. If it a 3rd girl I will welcome all suggestions
