  • I think Sci-fi movies are DA BOMB.

I am having a Resident Evil marathon week. Next week will probably be The Chronicles of Riddick (since the new one is coming out!), and of course, Alien/s never gets old.

All of Mumford & Sons songs sound the same.

I like Mumford & Sons and went to their concert Monday night. It was a good show, but about halfway through I realized that I was listening to the same song over and over again.

Edited: improper usage of there, their, and they're drives me nuts...

I don't like Snickers, Butterfingers, Reeses... or anything that combines peanuts/peanut butter with chocolate. I have no idea why. I like peanuts and chocolate just fine separately.

Edit: However, I do like chocolate mixed with almonds, walnuts, or pecans..

Edit again: I have no idea if this would be a UO or FFFC.. could be both I guess?

It's totally worth the $100 if you get a free Spanx shirt with it! DUH!

Blasphemy!! Peanut butter and chocolate is a gift from the heavens.
Apparently I'm not worthy of the goodness :(
  • Why the hell is there a 50 Shades of Grey movie being made? It was a stupid book anyway and it's not like the sex scenes can be shown. Sure Charlie whats-his-tits is sexy but come on.

There are ALOT of people who don't think it's stupid - they don't call it 'mommy porn' for nothin'!

  • I don't "get" sunbathing.

Going to the beach with friends? Playing outside? Doing some sports? Day drinking on the porch? Readin a book? Sure!

But just lying there, in the sun, to get a tan? I find it so pointless.

Yep, remember the stirup pants? Hated those but my mom always dressed me in those damn things! Im only a fan of wearing leggings to bed! They don't ride up my legs while sleeping/tossing and turning all night!

  • I don't want to take a future child to Disney World.
    Maybe when they're like....  16.
  • It bothers me when I see little girls in Sephora with their mothers buying a lot of makeup. And I don't mean the neutral looking stuff. Seeing tweenagers and sometimes younger, picking up heavy concealer, bold color eyeshadow and lip glosses and lipsticks makes me give that Mom the side eye.

Totally, 100% agree.  I don't understand the desire to lie in sand and sweat.

I will take this a step further and say that I think people who lay out to work on their super dark tans actually end up looking pretty silly to me.  A nice little glow?  Okay, great.  But to try and get so tan that I can barely recognize you is really odd to me.

I actually think that it's fine for little girls to play with makeup for the most part, especially eye makeup. There are possibly some looks that shouldn't leave the house but those could be moderated.

What gets to me are the little girls with "Hot stuff" etc. stitched into their clothes. Umm... no!

  • I don't know if this is a UO but I'm perfectly happy spending up-to-let's-say-about $180 on an amazing pair of designer jeans.  I didn't used to think so until last year.  I have a closet full of not-amazing $50-ish jeans that I'm just going to get rid of now that I have a few great pairs from J.Brand, Joes (especially great for junk in the trunk) and Seven.  I do not care about the label but have found great fits for my figure with these brands - not always so easy. I wish I'd realized this sooner as I wasted WAY more money on badly fitting jeans most of my life that I didn't end up wearing more than a few times.

I do try to get them at Nordstrom on sale, though and can usually find for around $130.

What would be the point of that?

ETA: I get the whole, "I don't want to pay for a Disney Vacation until my kid is old enough to remember and enjoy it," but that is like age 8. At 16 a kid will "enjoy" Disney but not nearly as much as they would in elementary school.

I was waiting for Cram to chime in. ;-) Although I would suggest that if you have a girl who is into princesses then the age they would enjoy Disney is a few years earlier. :-)

Fair enough. I have no issues with little girls playing with makeup either. I'm pretty sure I played around in my mother's makeup and tried to wear her shoes and jewelry around the house. Unfortunately, the little girls I see in Sephora shopping for makeup are the same girls shopping in Victoria's Secret picking up the undergarments and sweats with messages written on the back.
  • This makes me sad.. I'm almost 25, and I've never been to Disney.

I LOVE it!!! I wear lots of sunblock so I don't burn but nothing more relaxing than sitting there on the beach or by a pool listening to the water move and reading or people watching!
    Fucking bump!!!!
