  • All I've wanted all week is a Bootlegger from Jimmy John's, but I've been afraid because I know you're not supposed to have it.

My doctor's instructions were to avoid cat litter but otherwise I could do what I was doing before...lol...so since his recommendations were so vague I just don't know what is okay and what isn't, and I've already done a lot of "no-nos" on accident because I just didn't know they were bad until after.

Part of the reason I'm so nervous too is that I've never worked at a Jimmy John's and I don't know how good their food safety procedures are.

Has anyone's doctor's okayed Jimmy John's? I'll see mine Wednesday so I can ask him what he thinks then....but I just don't know if I can hold out that long....lol.

I asked my dr about lunch meat and she said it is totally fine (doesn't need to be heated). We just can't have unpastuerized or undercooked myupeat.

That's what my Dr said too. Good thing because a capicola sandwich with tomatoes and lots of pickles sounds heavenly right now!

  • My doctor gave me the whole lunch meat discussion.  I didn't have the heart to tell her that I'm not a big fan of sandwiches.  There are many other lunch options that I prefer.

I already knew that sushi was out.  I definitely miss sushi, but I don't think I'll ever miss lunch meat.
