Girl: Cora Juliet (or Cora Frances...this is up for debate) Boy: Mark Ambrose
ETA: We have both loved Cora since we saw that name monogrammed on a backpack in an airport while we were in college. Years ago. This name has nothing to do with Downton Abbey!
We have agreed on one name, but it's totally just 'in theory.' I wouldn't hold DH to it when we get pregnant. I do have a few that I really like:
Girls: Catherine, Charlotte, Anna
Boys: Anderson
@emerald27 - I love the name Cora. Unfortunately, I had a difficult grandmother with that name, otherwise, I'd totally want to use it!
I totally adore all of your names.
We've talked about it... myself more than H. I'm really into baby names and the discussion of them, have been for many years. He isn't so much. So I throw names around, but he doesn't seriously discuss or want to narrow anything down before I'm pregnant.
But my all time favorite girl name is Layla. I love, love, love it.

We had names picked out before my engagement ring!
Boy: Mattison Marion, my maiden name and DH's middle name. It's been the firstborn son's middle name since at least 1850 so even though I don't like it, I won't break tradition. To be called Matt.
Girl: Camilla Suzanne. Camilla is my granny's name and the title of my favorite book. I've had this name picked out since I was 12! Suzanne is my middle name and a combination of our moms' names. To be called Millie, which is DH's great grandmother's name.
We had girl names picked out which made it really hard when we had two boys. They are Zachary and Hayden. If we have another boy I want to go with Rocco b/c I'm Italian but DH thinks it sounds ridiculous with our last name (he's Irish). I also like Hudson for a boy and Wyatt. If we have a girl she will be Olivia Catherine.
I have a few names I like but nothing set in stone and they'll probably change
Girl - Evelyn or Elsie Boy - Ethan
I apparently am into E names right now

DH wants to name our daughter (if we are ever blessed with one) Malia. Which is my name. I don't really like the idea. I've always loved Sophia and Savannah. For Boys DH wants a Junior. But to add I would like Dillon or Connor
Girl: Charlotte Rose or Charlotte Ruth--I've loved Charlotte since I was little and I told DH it's non-negotiable, lol
Boy: unsure, possibly using Walter as a middle name is practically everyone in DH's family has it as a first or middle name. I had a grandfather named Walter, so that would be nice as well. Charles is the front-runner for first names.
The problem: in an ideal world, we would have 2 kids, a boy and a girl. I don't think we could have a girl named Charlotte and a boy named Charles, since they are pretty much the masculine and feminine versions of the same name. If we have a boy first, I would hate to use Charles in the chance that our second child would be a girl, and that would preclude us from using Charlotte, my favorite. Any ideas? I know I might get 2 girls or 2 boys (or, God forbid, no kids at all) but I have been thinking about it.
We have a girl name picked out, Evelynn Victoria Pauline. I've always loved the name Evelynn, and always told myself that I'd name a little girl Evelynn Pauline (Pauline was my Mom's first name), DH said the same thing about Victoria, with no MN picked out. Put 'em together and I love it. Plus, the initials EVP are pretty damn awesome for what we do.
Boy: Miles Edward or Maxwell Edward Edward was my deceased father in law's name Girl: Annabelle, Charlotte, Georgia - I tend to like old fashioned names for girls, but all of these are getting kind of popular for me, so I don't know if I will use them. Alexandra is another of my top choices and a bit more classic, so we may go with that.

I absolutely adore some of the names mentioned here! I really enjoy the trend toward old fashioned names.
Ours are Nathan (middle name undecided) for a boy, and Josephine Aimee for a girl. I usually hate "quirky" spellings for names, but it's DH's grandmother's name, and a middle name, so it doesn't t bother me as much.
Started TTGP July 2013 ~ BFP! 11/21/13 ~ TEAM PINK!!!

You should know how great things were before you. Even so, they're better still today.
Now I can't think who I was before you ruined everything in the nicest way
Ours are Nathan (middle name undecided) for a boy.
I love this name, our son is named Nathaniel, so kind of close. Crazy story, but I had the name Nathaniel picked out for a boy since I was a kid. I always loved it. When my DH and I were first dating he had a dream about a book floating in the air, and it opens and the name "Nathaniel" is there. Of course I told him I always wanted to name my son Nathaniel. Kind of freaked him out...since we had JUST started dating. Ha ha. Now we love to tell this story.
Hubs wants a girl named "Jo". Josephine is the only name we could both agree on--I love vintage names, and we have entirely too many Joanne/Joans in my family. I would have loved Johanna, but I would have pronounced it properly--and everyone pronouncing it incorrectly would have driven me absolutely insane.
Grace is a name I have always loved, but it's too popular for my tastes in a FN spot.
Henry is entirely too popular also, but I love that name, and it belonged to my paternal great-grandfather. James is DH's dad.
If we end up with two girls, the second will probably be Margaret Helen--both my grandmother's names. Two boys--well, I like Jack or Frank. I have a really hard time with boy's names.
Yep, still not 100% sure on the boy name & bickering about the spelling of the girl name. Our boy middle name was going to be Matthew until I actually was pregnant, then MH decided he wanted to use his father's name.
@valancyy I really like Katherine Elizabeth. We know Elizabeth will be the middle name since it's a family name. Anne is also a family name on DH's side. I think those names are just so timeless and pretty I think boy names are harder, they are for us anyway
@kramja01 I used to babysit for a family with a Charlotte and a William. I thought it was such a cute sibling set of names! I love Charlotte but DH hates it
So far we have: Girl- Gabriella Diana (nickname Gabby, Diana for DF's late mother) Boy- Tennyson Joseph (Tennyson for my great grandfather, Joseph for my DF's father and my step father)

It took DH & I a long time to agree on Henry for DS (he's Henry Mark), so I'm not sure if we have another boy what it will be, but as of right now it would probably be Luke Charles (Charles is FIL)
Our girl name we have had picked out for years! Paige Laurel (Laurel is a version of our moms' names - Laurie & Laura)
Welcomed our baby boy Henry on March 15, 2013 (7 weeks early!)
I have a long running list of names I like (you can vote on them! Link in signature), and this list has no input from my husband lol. We don't really talk about it, but I get the feeling that he will be picky, so hopefully he will be picky from my list
I tend to like more old fashioned names but want to avoid ones that are too popular right now. I also think I want to wait until the baby is born to choose a name. Maybe go to the hospital with a few options and pick what we think best fits.
Boy: Elliott and Cory. (DH's name is Sylvester and he is a junior, so he wanted a Sylvester III, but as much as I love my husband I do not love his name enough to give it to a child. So it's looking like the compromise is that Sylvester will be a MN.)
Girl: Gianna and Diana (Middle name will most likely be Marie, which is part of my middle name, and is also my mom's, MIL's, and SIL's middle name.)
We probably wont narrow it down to one until we see the baby, and then we will pick the name that seems to fit him or her best.
No, we don't have anything picked out. We don't agree on many names and my favorites are always changing. These are a few that I like right now:
Girls: Camila, Beatrice, Clara
Boys: James, Evan, Desmond, Lionel (Leo-nel)
Love your names! Camilla is our girl name and Clara is on my short list of names in case we have two girls. It was my great-grandmother's name and I like that it's strong and feminine at the same time!
