Taking "bump touching" to a whole new level. WTF.

So I've been getting a lot of attention from my coworkers. Between the nicknames like "prego" and "baby mama" and people always commenting on my changing shape...usually it doesn't bother me but my "best friend" (according to her) decided to take it to a whole other level today while touching my bump.

Now if I know you I don't care if you touch my bump. With strangers it's a different story, but I really didn't mind her touching my bump. But then she was commenting on where I was carrying trying to determine if I'm having a boy or girl. Out of nowhere she says "where's your vagina?" And start feeling and before I could say anything, actually TOUCHES it! This in the middle of a work day, in front of a male coworker. He and I both said, "hey!" And she started justifying it saying she was trying to figure out where I was carrying.

I'm STILL just like WTF. Has anyone had BS like this happen? She's lucky I don't call HR on her ass cause she would be fired. It's an awkward situation because I don't want to make a big deal out of it and seem like I think she was trying to cop a feel or something but seriously who does that???

That's the thing. To her it was no big deal. I am at my wit's end with her because of other things too. She would never just think "hey that was really inappropriate I should apologize." She's just right all the time. She just brushes it off I guess for her ego's sake.
I do consider us friends and she's going through some (perpetual) shit in her marriage so I kind of just feel bad for her but she's so selfish and rude sometimes!

Whether she's sensitive or not, or will call you "rude" you seriously need to draw a line with this chick. Like a great big fat X-line on her nose, so the next time she tries to feel you up, you have your target zone delineated clearly for when you deck her.

I'd report it, you never know if HR has other incidents on record for her. I had a weird lady at work display some bizarre behavior and I reported it. Turns out she had other issues and was told to go to rehab or find a new job!

She c/should get fired for that. The fear for HR is that you would feel harassed and sue the company. So if you're not going to HR, I again, and sorry if I'm repeating, have a nice firm CTJ talk with her. It should snap her out of her cray cray.

Wow! I wouldn't report if she is a friend but I would pull her aside later and explain how uncomfortable that made you feel.

If it happens again (or anything close!) I would go straight to HR and report both incidents.

My coworker got put on probation for throwing his headset. I DEFINITELY have to echo everyone else and say that HR needs to know about this. OMG. I cannot even believe that this happened IRL to anyone. I would almost call 'catfish' on you, but I think that is to f-ed up to be fake.
