  This argument is starting to sound silly to me.
  
  I get why some people want a fb group. Some people post here very frequently and they are starting to form a bond and become friends. This is great and the Facebook group will be awesome for them to be in touch.
  
  As for me, I don't see myself becoming that involved ever simply because I work full time and have a little one already to run after. I don't think I will ever be that close to online friends - heck, it's hard to keep in touch even with my real life friends.
  
  I will stick with this board and post questions or help other ladies any time I can. I guess that's the purpose of the board to begin with - help each other and get our questions answered.

  So also, I hate to continue this but I feel the need to speak up about it, the posters that keep saying they don't have the time to spend all day, every day on TB need to knock it off. You don't know other people's circumstances. I go to school full time, have a 2 year old, and am on bed rest. So I should feel bad for killing time on a forum that is dedicated to pregnancy? There are other posters that also work full time with kids. Please just drop that line of defense.

  The most time I spent on hear was when I was on Bed rest. I'm off it now, but my doc, told me I'm not allowed to help lift any boxes in the move otherwise I will be placed back on it(which would suck because I am super excited to long term sub) Don't feel bad for being on The bump, it made me less bored.

  @jdubb0626 and the other FB admins. I think you are getting a lot of heat for having the balls to spear head this project. I know I'm not ready, but I applaud you for taking on the role and dealing with the backlash. I think your initial guidelines are good. I still can't understand why the lurkers are getting so butt hurt over this. If you don't talk to us here why do you want to talk to us there? And why would you think we'd want to talk to you there when we aren't hiding under our screen names? I get that it's easier on FB for many, but jeez. Just google baby groups on FB and you probably can find another one to join. There's nothing special about us. We're not the only ones. We are just a bunch of women who happen to use The Bump.

  Vainly, I am going to assume that when I am ready to join, I will be considered a recognized user. Please note that many of you call me Sugarland, but my full screen name is Sugarland726. Don't say no to me based on strictly that!

  So, to the admins, good luck with monitoring. Keep on keeping on. From this side you appear to be doing a good job at regulating. A small suggestion would just be to firm up your requirements for admission, stick to it, and advise anyone who is whining about not being accepted to beef up their posting here.

  Wait, so I actually have to actively participate?  

  I know I'm not super active, which is why I haven't asked to join yet. I participate in discussions, but don't start many of my own, and I know if I asked to join right now I probably would be declined. I think the people getting upset just need to take a deep breath, smell some wine, eat some chocolate mousse and get their bump on.

   Its like you people are in a high school pregnancy clique picking and choosing who is in your group.  Previous Posts state its this way to keep drama starters out... that is exactly what this is DRAMA!  Its just become a stupid argument...and honestly not what TB is for.
