Simplex 2.0 leaking?

Hi ladies! I just started using Blueberry pockets on DS, he's just over 10lbs, and I love them! I just tried a 2.0 on him, and I didn't even get him off the changing table before we had a leak at the elastic on his back.

The front of the attached insert was soaked, and the back was dry, but the elastic at the back was wet and leaked through. I had the snaps set to the smallest setting..maybe I had the fit wrong? Or he peed before I had the snaps all done? Would that cause this type of situation?

I'm really hoping to get this diaper to work for us, it's soooo cute! Also, I had only washed once to prep like I did with my pockets.

  • synthetics only need to be washed once...so you're good there.  The only time I had a leak out the top of the back of the diaper was when M lifted his legs in the air with the diaper on and had peed.  It was a one-time, fluke thing.  I felt like some of the pee was absorbed at the front and the rest, since his feet were up, kind of ran down the channel of the diaper and out the back

  • I'm thinking it might have been something like that, hopefully just a fluke! Thanks!
  • My Simplex 2.0s are cotton inside, not synthetic.
