How much caffeine are you allowing yourself? I know they say now that some caffeine is OK but I trying to figure out how much I'm OK with.
I didn't have a a single drop of it from week 4 to week 16 because I was so sick and didn't even want any. But now that my morning sickness has finally calmed down my cravings are back hardcore. When I finally could drink soda again I let myself have one canned Dr. Pepper with dinner everyday because I was just so glad I could drink something. Usually two glass if we were out to eat. Now I'm thinking I want to limit that more. And coffee finally smells good again, great even, so I'm wanting to add a little of it back in also.
We all know decaf coffee still has some caffeine in it but after researching I found that Folders decaf coffee singles (prepared like a tea bag) have the least amount that I can find. It doesn't taste amazing but once I add cream and sugar its good enough.
Here's an awesome chart showing the amount of caffeine in name brand coffees, teas, sodas, even some ice cream if anyone is interested in seeing where their guilty pleasures rank in.
https://www.cspinet.org/new/cafchart.htmI'm thinking I'm going to see if I like caffeine free coke, and if I don't like that then I'll probably go with decaf iced tea rather than my daily Dr. Pepper. I have water all through out the rest of the day. What do you drink with dinner?

I drink a medium iced coffee every single morning (it's 24oz, and has 91mg of caffeine in it)
All I drink for the rest of the day is water, and maybe water with crystal light in it.
Without my coffee, I would die...ok maybe not die, but I'd be one miserable bitch.

I allow myself 1 caffeinated beverage a day, if that's a can of pop or a coffee. I haven't finished a soda in about 6 months anyway, but if I open one, that's it.
I usually made my coffee really strong, but I have found that the Folger's Decaff singles that @Cara1024 mentioned are OK when made weaker.

I had zero caffeine from weeks 7(when we found out) to 14.
Partially Complex (my blog)
Honestly, right now one coffee a day is the only thing that keeps my headaches away. Yesterday I went without and had a splitting headache by the end of the day. One that Tylenol helped with but didn't stop. And prior to being pregnant I drank maybe 1 or 2 cups of coffee a week, so it's not like it's a coffee withdrawl headache (and I also had headaches during 2nd tri with my girls and I didn't drink coffee then) and so I'm drinking more caffeine now then I was before. But still within the recommended amounts.
With dinner I drink water or milk but that's all I've ever drank during dinner for my entire life, so there is no change there.

Rum & Coke...mmm!! Laying on my stomach! Can't wait!
I did switch to half-caff coffee (the green mountain K-cup) in the morning and I don't drink a ton of soda, but I will drink sweet tea if I'm out at a restaurant an I don't really worry about the number of times it gets refilled.
