@jschwind22 - yes! I even bought a second one (different brand) thinking maybe something was wrong with the first one I bought. I temped with both of them for a while, and even though they never gave me the same reading, they were never too far off from one another (.2 degrees max)
I'd say it's worth a call to your doctor to get checked out, if you are ready for there. I see no evidence of ovulating.

That's what I was afraid of ( I went to my OB and he prescribed Provera and Clomid (unmonitored), I had read enough prior to that visit and did some more research afterwards to know that Clomid unmonitored is a big waste of time and can be dangerous, so I called an RE and got an appointment (which is on Tuesday!)

Can I play? I have been lurking for a while and am ready to jump in. We are starting to TFAS, but I have always had generally wonky cycles and needed provera when trying for DS. When I conceived my DS I ovulated on like cycle day 80...totally random and just happen to catch it on an OPK. We actually had a referral to a RE the month we found out about DS. I got my period back while BF and actually ovulated (from what I can tell) for three months. Now that we are TFAS my temps are bouncing all over and I haven't been able to confirm ovulation this month from what I can tell.
My main question is, how can I get a positive OPK for multiple mornings using SMU and then it not be positive by the afternoon? Are my hormones all off? Here is my chart of stalking purposes....TIA

Why the open circles on CD 32, 33, and 34? Are you drinking water throughout the day? Your urine could be too dilute.
I have been sleeping really poorly so I was temping when my husbands
alarm was going off (6 AM) since I knew I wouldn't be getting 3 hours of
sleep. This is earlier than my usual temping time which is closer to
7:30-8 AM when DS gets up. DH travels alot which is why I have less open circles earlier in my cycle.
I do drink alot through out the day. I
have been trying to limit my liquids in the afternoon so it will be
more concentrated for an OPK. When I recorded the positive OPK that was
two days in the morning last week, but I did it again today and it was
positive again this morning. The OPK I took this afternoon was negative.

Hmmm, I have no idea what would cause that. What do the directions on the OPK say? Some specifically say to not test with FMU.

Is SMU usually better for the OPK's? I've seen some people do FMU and others SMU. I'm going to get the Mabis thermometer today from WalMart.
Some people say that testing between the hours of 10-2 is best, because your LH tends to start to surge later in the mornings. I've always been able to catch it with FMU though.

I bought the Clearblue Digital kit with 20 strips and hopefully will just need to use extra this first month of testing to see what the best time is. Lord knows I can't buy that many every month!

They don't say either way. I used to only test mid afternoon but was wondering if I missed my surge, so I started doing SMU. I read something pinned at the top of this board about using OPKs and that is why I started using SMU. I find it totally random that this is happening and frustrating.
Stupid question but I just can't figure this out! My sn changed and now my avatar is just the generic one. I've gone to the top let, changed my avatar to what I want a few times and it still is generic. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Sorry for asking a question that is always asked and TIA!
