So I haven't gotten an official PCOS diagnosis. My OBGYN only tested TSH and prolactin and did a tv ultrasound. And based a possible diagnosis off that and other symptoms. She's not planning on doing more testing.

Would you recommend visiting the RE sooner? My year mark is in October, but I really want to know what's going on, especially if I have wacky spotting again this month.

Looks like you already have a RE Appointment scheduled in about 6 weeks.  I'd just keep that appointment.  Good luck!

kind of a random question, and I wasn't even going to bother asking because it doesn't matter, but does anyone else experience a tingling sensation in their boobs at any point in their cycle?  Not pain, just tingling (almost like a letdown, for those who have BF).  I've only had this one or two other times and it's kind of funny feeling!

I'm not a newb but I have been wanting to ask a question.  I have to travel out of town for my RE appointments and if she decides to do fertility drugs am I going to have to travel for all of those monitoring appointments or can I do the ultrasounds in my town and have the results sent to her?

I'm obviously going to ask her but just wondering if anyone has had experience with that so I can somewhat predict if I'm going to be missing a lot of work in the coming months.

ETA: That goes for the HSG I'm probably going to have to have as well.

It won't hurt to let your OB know that you are planning to go off BCP and TTC, but I wouldn't expect much out of the conversation other than "good luck, hope to see you before next year!"

Why are you interested in genetic testing? What are you looking for? Both DHs parents are adopted and we're kind of curious what will crop up in his lifetime. I guess we can wait and see what happens to his parents.

Your RE has packages? I didn't realize that was a thing, I am going to ask my RE about this because so far everything has been a la carte and expensive (Although I am sure it is expensive either way).

My RE just offers packages for IVF and FET's.  But I've heard of other RE's offering packages for IUI's, like 3 IUI's for $X.

Got my first Positive OPK this morning. Just peed on it again and got another smiley. As i mentioned earlier today, hubs is out of town. If I get up and take a test tomorrow and its negative, I've missed my fertile window right?

When is he coming back?  You usually O 24-36 hours after a + OPK, so if he's getting back soon you might still make it!  You can also surge and not ovulate, but you won't really know that happened unless you are temping.

If I were considering getting my nipples pierced, when do you think the best time in my cycle is to have it done?

jschwind22 - I get the hiccups 3-4 times every day. This started after I Oed. Am I totes preggers? Should I go pee on a stick? I'm on 2dpo as per mydays app. Please help! So nervous and excited! Squeeee!

No idea. But if you think you might want both done, don't just get one done now and then the other later. You won't go back. Get them both done at once...and try not to look at the size of the needle......

Do you know this from experience?  What gauge is the needle?

what say TTGPers on whether or not you can/should use digital OPKs more than once per day?  Google is giving me mixed info.

I'm not sure if there is a rule, but my own rule is 3 days before earliest ovulation, just to cover all my bases.  I also like to pee on sticks, it makes me feel like I'm doing something.

I don't think this is a can/should question, but a matter of how much money you are willing to spend.  You can certainly test with digi's to your little hearts content, but they are expensive.  Many ladies use cheapies (Wondfo's from Amazon are the most popular) and then confirm with a digi to make sure it is +.

oh I know, I have plenty of wondfos at my disposal!  I used them when we conceived DD and have been using them since I had my Mirena out in April.  I added digitals this cycle since we're now TTC and I was just curious.  I've been using them once a day and using the wondfos twice a day (once mid-day, and once when I pee on the digital in the evening)

Background: I got off BCP in January; we did sloppy FAM as birth control until June; TTC (OPKs and CM) since June. I have been having regular, though light, periods (24-30 days).

If you're having regular periods, it's very likely that you are ovulating.  I'd give charting a try for 6 months before worrying too much.  It can take awhile to get the hang of.  Have you been getting + OPK and having corresponding CM since June?
