Happy Wednesday, Late December Ladies! How's everything going?

We're still holding out on Team Green for now. I think we've both kind of forgotten about it. MIL has gone from "I totally support your decision" to "omg please find out, it's killing me!" So that's making the decision to hold out a little easier

23/12 Team Blue.

Getting pretty restless in bed, I just want to get up and clean something, you ladies are my only source of entertainment as there is not a TV in the bedroom. I am still waiting for a phone call from the hospital for my OB appointment.

Been doing lots of registry stuff lately. Got target and bed, bath, and beyond. I keep remembering things I need to add. But, the really important things, I think I've got covered. Next OB visit is Tuesday. After the appointment, I'm getting my hair done!! Pretty excited...Cut and color for the wedding. I'm not going to pay someone to do an updo for the wedding...Just not. So, instead, I'm cutting my hair in a really nice style that I can dress up for the wedding and not have to pay 60$ for an updo. I'm having my friend do it, (she does hair professionally) and paying her less than the updo cost.

NBR - been super busy at work yesterday and will be today. Probably won't be around much. I am training someone to be back up on one of my duties. I've pretty much re-written the instructions since so much has changed. I now need to type them up. Not sure how I feel about training the person. We'll just see how it goes. FX. The girl-A I talked to about training the back up-B pretty much didn't give me much hope. But, A says if I train her now...and make B do the work all next week. I should probably be okay. We'll just see how it goes.

(I know this is a lot of rambling and different things. Sorry if it is TMI for a check-in...)

Doing good- 21 wks 3 days. Finally got the results of my 19 wk a/s - everything looks good except my placenta is 1 cm from cervix so another u/s to follow in 6 wks. At what point do they put you on pelvic rest?

12/25 due date, having a girl!

Things are going pretty good. We are doing some home renovations and I just want them to be done! I am getting another cervical length check on Friday, I've been getting them done every 2 weeks since 16 weeks. Hopefully everything is still good in there!

Having a lot of heartburn lately, but feeling pretty good. I'm starting to have to slow down with DS, though. It makes me sad that I can't pick him up and play with him like I used to.

Doing good here, trying to get everything situated for DD's 2nd birthday next Monday. Need to go order a cake today, which I have zero experience with. So that should be fun.

I have been working on going through all of the clothes I kept from DD to have for LO, and organizing their room. I also have a play kitchen to assemble sometime before Monday. I work all weekend so I'm not sure where I'm going to squeeze it in, since I get tired at about 8:30 now!

I am really excited about the cake, that's all I can think about right now. I just woke up with the toddler, so I'm groggy!

Good here so far! Getting the nursery together after I received my bedding from Pottery Barn...really cute and cheaper than Target for higher quality since it was on sale (woohoo!). Picked out a paint color sample, just need to try it out. Allergies are kicking my butt lately and I have a sore throat and bad cough thanks to the drainage

. Registered for toys, books, and baby stuff at BRU. This weekend we're going to Target to fill in the gaps abd pick out movies too.

Doing good here. Not much new to report. Just waiting for my next doctor's appointment in 2 weeks. I'll be taking the glucose test, so not looking forward to that.

Keep holding out for team green, it's sooooo worth it!

I hate being pregnant and breastfeeding right now. Normally I'm ok with it, but this week I just want to stop. My ultimate goal is tandem nursing and the more I think about it, the crazier it seems. I had a goal of at least until two (unless she stops earlier) and I just don't know any more. I want a friggin break.

Doing well this week. DH and I stayed the weekend at the Gaylord Palms resort in Orlando so that was fun. It was just nice to have 2 mornings not woken up at 6:30am by whining hungry cats like we have at our house. I need all the sleep I can get right now! I have been feeling baby girl a lot more now - last night it felt like she was having a dance party on my bladder. We are going to order the nursery furniture this weekend so I'm excited about that. We have it narrowed down to 2 sets and they both take 10-12 weeks for delivery. We're having such a hard time deciding between them so I don't know how we'll decide on Saturday which to get.

Doing well here! Had my 21 week check-up today. I was happy with my weight, blood pressure, etc. And doc didn't mention any of it. He only flipped out a little when I told him we were going to refuse the gestational diabetes screening, but said if I want to risk having a large baby then so be it.

Doc did recommend I get a belly support thing for when I exercise, as I may have pulled an abdominal muscle over the weekend. But he didn't say anything about backing off - he knows that I listen to my body really well on things like that.

Starting to get woken up more through the night as little Lauren goes through her tumbling routine. I guess I need lots of time to get used to the idea of getting up with her once she's here!

I'm in denial about squeezing another baby into this house. I can't get motivated to buy another crib because it means my dresser is moving to the dining room. Or something. I haven't figured it out yet.

This pretty much sums up my week, as well. I'm really cranky and have had a bad day at work every day, so far. Today hasn't been any better. I just want to be a hermit, but I can't, because I have to get up, fight with my wardrobe, and go to work. My ass is getting bigger and bigger every day, but I have no energy after work to exercise. I know people have it way worse, but in my little world, I HATE this week.

On a positive side note, DH felt our little guy kick for the first time. He was beyond thrilled.

Doing well here! This week I got a quilt top done for the baby and we've been kicking around some more names. I feel like we're never going to be able to agree on a boy's name! ugh! I'm hoping to get a lot of painting done around the house in the next couple of months and hopefully start getting registered for gifts!

AGriffin620 - That's exactly where I am. I know I could have it worse, but I've just felt like crap this week and haven't even felt like doing yoga. And my favorite coworker is out on vacation this week so I feel lost. It could definitely be worse, but I'm ready to look forward to next week now...

I'm hanging in. Belly is getting bigger which I love! I'm a guidance counselor and school started this week and all I want to do is sleep when I get home! I'm exhausted!

I get to go for another ultrasound in 2 weeks b/c she wouldn't stay still long enough to get all the pictures we need (we only need one more!). I'm excited to see her again!! And at that time I'll be 24 weeks which seems like a relief!

@MsCat19 I feel your pain. DD weaned herself halfway through my last pregnancy so it wasn't a big deal. DS shows no signs of weaning. The pain alone from him latching on is killer. I'm just so sensitive right now.

AGriffin620 - True that. Halfway through the work week at this point!

Last week was better than expected. SIL hasn't spoken to me in a week, but that's really the least of my worries at this point. If that really made her that angry, then that's her issue to deal with. I just tried to stay quiet and under the radar. The few friends that I talked to about it were amazing, so I was really thankful that I did have an awesome support system. Thanks for asking

Hello! Doing well here - 21 weeks and team green still! Belly is getting bigger and bigger by the week I feel. Funny to see all the changes. And the kicks or punches are getting stronger...which I love!!! I'm a teacher and finally back to school this week. My poor feet are very sore. Next apt. is at 22 weeks. Otherwise, finally starting to get some baby big items like a car seat. Can't wait!!

Everything is pretty good for us right now, too. I'm still tired nearly all the time, but other than that it's just the occasional heartburn/bloating/back muscle pain.
Our office is eeeeever so slowly becoming a nursery. Hopefully this weekend we can get some registry stuff done, although DH will be quite distracted with the first weekend of squirrel hunting.
Tomorrow I'm going to a furniture painting class so I can paint the crib.
And I'm fairly convinced baby is going to be either a Cirque du Soleil performer or a ninja.

This are going great around here

DH finally got to feel our girl kick which was very exciting! I went to the outlets with some girlfriends this past weekend and got the $60 Pottery Barn crib skirt I wanted for $14.95 which was super exciting! Other then that nothing new or exciting. Glad everyone's doing well and thanks for putting this together for us late bloomers.

All is well here so far this week. After our A/S scare 2 weeks ago we went to the perinatologist who diagnosed me with a circumvalette placenta but from what I hear is not too much of a huge deal. Of course they have to tell you the worst case scenario which is never pretty but on the plus side we get weekly checks on our sweet baby girl to monitor growth and general well being!

We were supposed to close on our house today but it has tentatively been moved to Friday as of right now which is a little stressful considering we have to be out of our apartment a week from today. Although I probably shouldn't complain considering I haven't packed anything, so here's to a weekend ahead of packing for me!

Had 21 week check-up/anatomy scan results today. Placenta is good, baby girl is good, measuring a little ahead for her original EDD (12/28), so maybe we will have a 2013 baby after all. Kicks are much more frequent, and LO loves to kick the Doppler wand. Dr couldn't get a constant BPM because someone kicks so much. I have a feisty fetus!

Team pink due 12/29. Nausea is finally all gone, which feels frickin' amazing. However, I've been having sciatic nerve issues for the past week that keep me away at night. Feels like someone kicked me in the lady parts.
A/S looked perfect so hoping for smooth sailing from here.

12/27 (?) Team Pink

All is well here. Major heartburn, my doctor prescribed Zantac which helps a lot. Anatomy u/s last week puts measurements around more of a 1/1/14 due date, so we'll see!

Baby is a proper lady, keeping her legs folded over her girl parts for the u/s, so we couldn't find out the gender that day. I was super bummed, so we went to a private u/s place the next day. She only uncrossed her legs once to stretch during that one too! But, long enough for us to find out. She's also quite the hand sucker, always wants her hands by her mouth. I think I'm going to have a little thumb sucker like I was!

The kicking is starting to get more consistent, can't wait for DH to be able to feel them!
