This will be my first baby I am 17 weeks pregnant today And I am about 19 lbs up! Stressing me out too! Dr says I'm ok because I was smaller to begin with although not under weight but it still stresses me out. I have been eating healthy and working out and that number keeps going up. Baby is healthy though so I guess that's all that matters!
3. At my last appointment (at 14 weeks) it was only like 3lbs since the very beginning. I feel bigger so who knows at this point. I have my anatomy scan next week so we'll see.
It's odd because I thought id be more self concious as I put on the lbs (I stated out really tiny & have never weighed over 124lbs a day in my life) but I'm not! Just rolling with it. Actually feeling kind of sexy with my new curves (butt & boobs!) my hubby is the most supportive man which helps alot too. Only odd thing is I am surprised to see how much other people (family and coworkers, ESP coworkers) seem to care. They are constantly asking me how much I've gained! Which I kind rude. How do I answer them in a way that makes them back off without me sounding like a hormone crazed lady?

I just say, "yep, I'm right on track!" Or "yep, I'm doing great. The doc is really satisfied with my weight gain so far." its honestly such a rude question- ambiguous answers are usually the way to go without being rude back
Since this thread is still going, I thought I would add that since last week when I posted, I've gained 5 lbs! I thought I was getting sick because I was sooooooooooo tired all of a sudden for several days and could barely even bring myself to do anything. Then one day I woke up with a much different belly than I've had (aka HUGE!), and I felt miraculously better - guess it was growth spurt time! It's funny how much that little human in there can suck your energy when it wants to.
