Just thought I'd start a place we could discuss our progress as early Sept moms. I went to the doctor today at 36 weeks and I'm 2cm dilated and 80% effaced. Are any of you showing signs of possibly going earlier than Sept? As for contractions I've only had back cramps and stomach tightening every once in a while. Nothing consistent! How are you girls feeling and progressing?

Tons of contractions but all irregular and bunch of pressure I don't have an appointment until Thursday so I won't know if I'm dilated until then.

I was dilated 1.5 with my first for over a month and didn't progress until I was induced so I'm not too worried if I am dilated because I know it doesn't always mean something is going to happen but the pressure and contractions is what has me worried

My next appt is this upcoming Monday for the first cervical check (FTM and a little nervous), but I've definitely been feeling more tightness and pressure. I feel as if he is moving down, but we will see come Monday! We also have an ultrasound in a week, so we will have a better idea on his position then.

I have had contractions and back pain more so the last few days. My 36 week appt. is tomorrow so I will find out if there's any progress then.

I've been having lots of cramps for the past couple weeks. Baby moves a TON too. I had my 35 week check-up yesterday and I was barely 1 cm dilated. I now go weekly to get checked so I am hoping to make progress because I've really been miserable the past couple weeks.

I am due Sept. 5th and was 2 cm 50% at 34 weeks. Then 3 cm and 70% at 35 weeks. OB put me on strict bed rest until 36 weeks which will be Thursday. He also said that the baby is very low and her head is engaged (??). I've been having contractions for 3-4 months, whether BH or regular but they've never been consistant.

This is our 4th, and I get earlier and earlier and the babies get smaller and smaller. This will be our last because I'm afraid that my little trend will continue. That, and 4 kids seems like a lot to me anymore.

Anywho, the doctor said that after 36 weeks he would release me from bed rest and wouldn't do anything to stop labor. Hopefully a few weeks of self imposed bed rest will keep this baby where she should be for a little longer. But, if she does come early then I know that I've done my best!

It has been a confusing week already, gals. Our last 'every-other-week' appointment was set back in March for last Tuesday. About 2 weeks ahead, they called and had to move it to today, as the Dr. was going out of town. We were 10 minutes from today's appointment when they called to tell us she had just gotten called out for a delivery. We are rescheduled for Thursday, but since we have our weekly appointments starting next Tuesday, I'm calling tomorrow to see if it would be alright to wait. I took today off because of how the appointment fell in the day, and arranging the time off will be tricky. You have to laugh though, right? At least I know the Doc will come running when it is our turn!!!!!

While I really don't have any complaints, between the BH contractions and the just general discomfort I'm starting to really look forward to our EDD. I just wish that every person that tells me "you shouldn't be doing that" would be magically forced to either take over the task to which they object, or to do at least a load of laundry on my behalf. That would speed up this preparation process!!!!!

Last week at 35 weeks My cervix was 'soft'. This is a change from last time when I stayed high, tight, and hard until 40 weeks. I'm also experiencing random practice contractions that I don't remember these happening with DS. I've also started experiencing lots of low pressure, constipation, and heartburn. Also, insomnia (it's 3:00am here).

Chalk me up in the insomnia category! But nothing else is really progressing. I'm due sept 3 with my first and so far just lots of movement and painful kicks every now and then. My next appointment is Thursday and weekly thereafter. At my next apt, doc said she would do an internal exam to make sure baby is head down but I seriously feel like my son is still super high and like I'm not even close to going into labor. Who knows though! Since this is my first I have no experience with how my body might react. I guess it's just a waiting game. My original due date was aug 27 and for some reason I'm thinking that is the right date but no real tangible reason, Just a hunch.

I don't have my next appt until Thursday. I will be getting the GBS test and another cervical check. I probably won't even have her tell me where I'm at because really it means nothing. I walked around at 3 cm with DS for weeks before going into labor. I've been having pretty regular and occasionally intense contractions so I have a feeling something is going on down there though.

BTW - It's 5 am here and I'm wide awake and watching Three's Company! This pregnancy insomnia sucks a big one.

My EDD is Sept 5 and I have an appt today that will include a cervical check. I'm more uncomfortable than I was at this point with DS and have BH daily. Sometimes they are regular for a few hours and hard enough to take my breath away. Baby feels low but we'll see what the doc has to say!

We're due sept 2nd and on our weekly visits. Last visit baby was head down but no dilation and no contractions. Baby is still relatively high and I don't have any of that low pressure yet. I have a feeling the baby is going to wait 5 days after EDD. No real reason just my new mommy instincts.

I'm 36 weeks on Saturday and I just can't believe how fast time has gone! I'd love to say I'll be going at 37 weeks but that has never been the case for me. All three other babies have come at 40-41 weeks. I'm pretty miserable right now but also know that this is the calm before the storm and I'm just trying to enjoy the relative "peace" before a newborn is around!! Good luck to you all!!

I am due Sept 6th and I was 2 cm dilated at my appointment this past week. I know I will go early since I am high risk and they won't let me go past 39 weeks. Just waiting to see if baby comes on their own the next few weeks or if I will have to be induced. I have had contractions on an off this whole pregnancy, so we'll see if they ever decide to stick around one day.

I'm due September 7th and I had an appt yesterday. I have such bad insomnia. What's really killing me us the pain. It hurts to walk. I really feel like this baby is going to fall out. With my last one I had no pain and he didn't drop until I was in labor.
I'm enjoying spending what little time I have left with DS as the only child!

I'll be 37 weeks on Friday. BHs have picked up, but that's the only real change lately. My doctor hasn't checked my cervix because baby is breech and he doesn't want it to change anything down there. If baby stays breech, our csection is scheduled for August 23. I'm hoping spinningbabies and possibly the chiropractor will help baby flip though.

I had my 36 week appt. yesterday and I am still closed, which is fine with me! I'm due September 5th and while I'm really excited to get this show on the road so we can meet our little girl, I can become the only inhabitant of my body again, and other such things, I can tell she has some growing to do yet and I'm happy to have her stick around until closer to my EDD.

I had a lot of BH while exercising and after exercising between 28 and 33 weeks, but for the last couple weeks, they haven't been an issue. I had some last night but it wasn't nearly what they were after a long, hot run around 30 weeks, so I'm curious to see how my pregnancy progresses from here.

It sounds like everyone is doing well, and I hope to hear about those babies when the time is right!

36 weeks today! I have an apt in a couple hours. I am dying to know if I am dialated because the pain/pressure is so intense! With dd I started dialating at 36 weeks so we shall see! Good luck ladies!

At last weeks 35 week appt I was 1/2 cm dilated and my dr said baby was head down and very low! She said she believes we will have an in time baby (sept.3) if not an early baby ( this month). I'm okay with that! Sleeping has been non existent and when I lay in bed I feel like a turtle on its back, getting up is an ugly struggle!

Due sept 2. PTL issues are now in my past. Contractions now here and there, back pain, and cramps are random. Dilated to 2, 50% effaced, and the baby was at a -2 station, though I know she has since dropped.

Due the 7th, but haven't had a cervical check yet... Next week I think. As of my appt on Monday, she's still breech and doc does not think she will change that. Looking at Scheduled CS on the 3rd( holiday weekend so they suggested waiting). If she happens to turn they would likely induce the same day due to insulin that I'm very posdiy starting at the end of the week. I've had 3 different people tell me they dreamt she came on Aug 26th, of your into believing dreams. That would be my first day back with students so I kind of hope not!!! Haha!

I am due Sept 1st and this is my last 2-week gap between appointments, next on is next Thursday. I have no idea if anything is going on down there but aside from the occasional tightness I really don't think I have had what you could technically call a contraction. I feel like this little guy is nowhere near interested in making an appearance so I doubt I will deliver early!

The good thing I that I haven't had much discomfort lately, and my sleep has been pretty good!

Due Sept 8, had my 35 week apt yesterday. No progress, I won't be checked again as I have a rcs for 9/4. I'm very ready for this baby to arrive but want her to "cook" as long as possible. I'm not sleeping well, and have a ton of pressure. I had no pregnancy ailments with my DS so all of this is new to me, with him I felt like I could be pregnant forever....

We're due the 10th but will be having her some time next week due to preeclampsia. I've been in and out if the hospital for the past week for monitoring. The dr wants to keep her in for a few more days so we can at least be 36 weeks so she will be more ready to come out

37 weeks on Friday and I have my first internal check today. I'm hoping there is something going on down there after all the pressure and tightening I had going on last week. I guess I'll see this afternoon.

Due sept 3 ! I have my cervix check appt tomorrow then next week a ultrasound to check size and position. Been feeling good. Just more tired and sore. My dad passed away 8 years ago on sept 1 , so I have a feeling this lil guy will come sept 1 for some reason.

Due Sept 7th - my doctor doesn't do cervical checks until 38 weeks. Pretty much uncomfortable 24/7 at this point. Sleep has been long gone for a few weeks now. BH happen daily and have increased lately.

But all that said... feeling the baby move around makes it all worth it and reminds me that in just a few weeks I will feel a little more like my old self.

Due Sept 2nd, but my MW called me last night and said my OB wasn't comfortable risking me going any later than 37 weeks because of my Cholestasis....we were hoping to make it to next Thursday because my bile acid levels started out so low (this is good, but they can spike at the end) but we'll be inducing Monday or Tuesday. Last time I was checked I was holding at about 1cm and 50% effaced but very soft so I am hoping things can get going without much intervention....contractions are a regular part of my day and have been for weeks now.

I had a level 2 sonogram yesterday and doc said she is in the launching position. Lots of pressure but no real contractions yet. I will get my first cervix check tomorrow.

My OB is out of town this week so I won't be doing GBS or a check, I'm just seeing the NP for a quick check-in. I'm 36 weeks today and due September 4th. Next week I'll have another check and see how things are going, as well as have the GBS test. I would be really surprised if I hadn't made some progress. I feel like baby is constantly hanging out on my cervix and I have a very distinct pregnancy waddle.

36 weeks on Thursday and I have a growth ultrasound and appointment on Friday. Based on that I will know if its looking like being induced at 39 weeks thanks to GD or we will wait and see. I have had lots of BH and major pressure in all areas south but nothing painful. Last appointment baby was head down but had not dropped.

I have my 36 week appointment today. I'm switching to (another!) a new OB/Midwife but I've read a lot of good things. I just know that the OB at my last office wouldn't have made me comfortable during labor. Plus it took his office a week to call and tell me I had a UTI. At today's appointment we are going to have an ultrasound and the GBS test. I don't know if they will do a cervical check or not. If she offers today I'll probably let her (since she's already there doing the GBS swab). After today though I won't ask for/allow any cervical checks until I go into labor. They don't really tell you anything and I don't want to get myself unnecessarily worked up/excited.

I've been feeling a lot more pressure and a lot more braxton hicks. The way her movements feel has also changed, less kicks and more rolls and stretches. I think she's running out of room.

Due Sept 6th, I had my 35/36 week appointment on Monday. Baby is head down and has dropped pretty low but my cervix like a brick wall. Slightly disappointing because I'm so very uncomfortable and just ready for baby to get here! I know it is coming soon though! Just 30 days left!

It's nice to know I am not the only one with all this pressure. It seems there are a handful of us with number 2 with way more symptoms this time around. I felt great with DS almost up until he was born at 37 weeks.
The pressure and pubic pain sucks right now. At my last week appt thee doc said he is super low. She is on vacation this week and told me I not allowed to have this baby this week because we've worked so hard to keep him in; she wants to deliver him.
We had to move my pessary removal until next week when she returns. I think this is what is causing so much discomfort down there. It's chilling right on my cervix and he's on the other side. I keep having this feeling he will come tomorrow the 8th. It's my dad's birthday and he passed ten years ago. I also just finished all of my teacher stuff for a long term sub and DS #1 came the day after I finished everything. We will see.

Due Sept 1. Been on weekly checkups since July 23 (34 weeks 2 days). I'm 36 weeks 3 days today and went yesterday for this week's checkup. Cervix is closed, no change. I've been having BH more frequently and they are a little more uncomfortable. I don't think I've had any real contractions yet. It's really hard to sleep and have to turn over when the pressure on my hip is too much - switch to the other side until the pressure on that side is too much. I switch between our bed and this couch we have in our room. It's strange that our Tempurpedic bed is not as comfortable as this 1950s couch that we got from DH's Granny.

I've got a 90 min massage scheduled today at 10am CT.

Due the 7th. I have my next appt Saturday, but they don't do cervical checks unless you go past your EDD. I like that though because I can't obsess over being 1cm for 3 weeks or something. I've been having tons of BH. My MW said she doubts I'll make it all the way to my EDD, but she thinks I'll definitely make it to term. So I'm thinking somewhere around 39 weeks.
