So, just curious: are you changing what you eat while on bed rest? Of course I want to get my little person all the nutrients he needs in this last, weight-gaining phase of the pregnancy, but I've only been on modified bed rest for a week, and I feel like I'm gaining a lot of weight. Obviously I'm burning a lot less calories than usual. And also, since they have taken away my elliptical time, my prenatal yoga, and (way back in January) my WINE, I think I'm using eating as a source of pleasure/way to reduce stress. There have been really a lot of chocolate chip cookies while on bed rest.
Is that okay? I know too much sugar can be a problem for the baby, although I passed the blood glucose thing with no trouble. Anybody else in this same situation?

I'm no health nut, but as long as the OB doesn't freak out about my weight, I'm not worried. I know I lose a lot of weight breast feeding. ha. ::shoves cheesy mashed potatoes in mouth::
I would really just eat how you would normally eat while pregnant. Get some heathy snacks, and try to eat lots of protein.
