We actually did save the top layer with some extremely careful preservation on my part and it was INCREDIBLY good. Like, the icing was a little frosty, which made it almost like ice cream and since we got such strong inner flavors (lemon and raspberry) they were still very tasty.

But I judge no bride who chooses to eat that whole bitch up within the week after her wedding. Cause it would be worth it.

I'm so tempted to go get our wedding cake out of the freezer and it eat it. Today makes 3 months since our wedding, and a quarter year anniversary is basically the same right? Ugh omg. It was so good.
