  Maybe try something hot to drink? That usually get DS going...

  If you are worried then I would call and tell them that you are concerned about reduced movement. Don't be afraid of being a worry wart. There are worse things!

  My MW told me that noticeable lack of movement is always a reason to call, so if you're worried I would definitely call your doc.

  I was nervous last night, ate ice cream, drank a coke, nothing. Finally as I was about to call SO started talking to and poking at my belly and he started kicking like crazy! Is there anything you have noticed really got him moving before? It never hurts to call, even if you go in to get monitored you won't regret it once you hear LO and they understand. Better to be safe!

  More than a day I would call for sure! A friend 2nd guessed herself for 2 days and she lost her daughter...not trying to scare anyone but docs recommend calling for a reason.

  Ice cold water, more juice, laying on your side, talking to LO. If they haven't moved in a while, call. FX that all is well. Let us know!!

  My doctor is super laid back and rarely worries about anything, but even she has said that no movement is a reason to get checked out.  I would definitely call the doctor at the least, and possibly go in to L&D to get checked out.

  Like PP said, I would call. In the mean time I've noticed when I use my bump as a shelf to hold my cold water bottle, LO kicks like crazy. Fx you get kicks soon.

  I have had this happen a few times and the things I have tried include
  1. Lay on left side for at least 10 minutes
  2. Drink caffeine or a sugary drink
  3. Speak into a paper towel tube to your stomach
  4. Hot or very cold drink
  5. Go for 15 minute walk then rest and see if he or she moves
  
  We just went to L and D on Friday for decreased fetal movement. I know it's so nerve racking.

  A Popsicle always works for me and laying on my side. I know it's strange but my lo doesn't move during the day at all, doc said that is fine as long as their is movement. Have you been busy, because maybe baby is worn out. Try something cold, always works for me. Keep us updated please!

  I would call or go to the hospital! My doc tells me every appt that decreased movement is a reason to go in. Daily fetal counts are one way to make sure LO is doing well. Good luck, hope all is well!!

  Agree with PPs decreased/no movement = a call to your provider asap. They will not be upset with you! Hope everything is healthy and normal with you LO FX!

  I agree with previous posters- call in.  My OB's rule is 10 movements within an hour.  Try juice, lay on your left side, turn off all electronic devices so you really concentrate for that hour.  Good luck!

  Whew! I just saw this and was ready to say the same..go get it checked out! I was on day 3 and no matter what I ate, drank or did, he would NOT move...Thats when I found out I had low amnio...Thoughts and prayers to her and lil one that everything is alright!!

  I went through this last month at my ILs lake place. I couldn't fnd juice so I I'd chocolate milk and half a donut - it worked ha.  Try something super cold (maybe ice down gatorade or kool aid) or ice cream?  Lay down in a quiet room in a comfortable position too.  Hope little one gets movin for ya!
