  I had some done for DH as a surprise wedding gift.  I drank champagne during so I was a little tipsy, which helped with the awkwardness.    

  I wouldn't do it again because DH hated it. He thought it was a trashy thing to do and hasn't even opened the pictures.  I felt like sh*t.

  You're gorgeous and I'm sorry your H was a DB about it. 

  FWIW, my SO feels the same way about these sort of pictures. We happened to see a girl on Four Weddings who had done a book for her groom and he turned to me and said, "People do that? Don't ever do that." and that was the end of that. TBH, I wouldn't anyways, unless I magically dropped 75 pounds and the map on my stomach.
