Belly button pain

I've had belly button pain for the last two weeks. I went to the DR today and she says I have a hernia. Said I couldn't do anything until after the baby was born. Any one else go through this? Should I be worried?

    No but I wouldn't be worried unless ur doctor said to be worried. She would have given you special instructions til baby is born or she would have done something about it if it were harmful to you or the baby.

    My daughter had a hernia in her belly button, it was odd, but corrected itself. They said if it didn't go away to correct they usually just stitch it, so.... Not sure if its the same for adults.

    Son is 10 yrs old

    Daughter is 8 yrs old

    Son is Due Sept 18, 2013

    hmmm...my belly button has been hurting lately too, much more than "normal." Thanks for posting...I will ask my dr about it at my next check up.
