I love these stories. They're really saving my mood!
Tinypic was failing so it took forever to respond to my own post.
This is our hedgehog, Knarla. She is two and a rescue. We adore her! She is blind due to neglect and so sweet. We've owned her since February. She was "free"... We've spent two hundred and fifty bucks getting her set up and back to health.
Our beast of a lab, Frazier. He completely lacks self preservation. He's run off cliffs and tried to play with dogs who want to murder him. He's kind of an idiot but he's so wonderful. Kindest dog ever. We just spent 800 on an emergency bill last week. He got pretty sick but is recovering!
I love that you have a hedgehog! That's adorable. Frazier sounds like a fun dog. Glad to hear he's recovering!
2 awesome dogs! Venus a 4yr old American bulldog/pitbull mix...most loving dog ever!!! and Vulcano the 7mo old mutt annoying little brother to Venus. Love my babies!!!!
I'm having a rough pet day! I have 2 ragdoll cats. Female is Phoebe and my male is Walle. Phoebe is normally timid cuddly and friendly. Walle reminds me of a grumpy old man. He loves attention but only on his terms.

This is my German Shorthair Pointer, Bindi. She's 5 and a huge handful. She has really bad anxiety problems - we can't have people at our home and have to avoid people while on walks. She's also not great with our DS. BUT she's our first baby so for the moment we're dealing with it (lots of meds, money, and visits with behaviorists). She also has a ton of personality which makes her lovable.
She is a beautiful dog. DH wants a GSP at some point (they are very popular hunters in our area) but I am not on board right now. One of our neighbors has one, and I see the dog's boundless energy daily!
Thanks! Yes, at 5 years old she's no where near slowing down yet energy wise! The energy and personality make for good photo ops though, I love using her as my subject lol!
My 8yo Weim hasn't really slowed down yet. She has tons of energy. If she doesn't run at least 20 miles in a week, she gets hyper.
I have two... A Great Dane name JB (stands for Jack Burton....from Big Trouble in Little China-- DH's favorite movie) and a cat named Adi(ah-dee). JB is big, but wouldn't hurt a fly on purpose. She loves to snuggle and give hugs, but is terrified of my 2.5 yo niece. My cat is developmentally delayed, and learned about being a cat from dogs. She's a little dumb (she runs into walls a lot), but very sweet when she wants to be. Now to try and get some pics in here!
JB's raincoat, she hates being wet.
Adi. We'll let her come out back with us sometimes (she has to be supervised, lol) and she always climbs the same tree,
What pets do you have? What are they like? Post a photo if you can!
Shelby-Pit Bull
Farley-French Bulldog
Mushroom-cat
Jasper-Cat
They are all super cool and their different personalities mesh perfectly to give us a well rounded bunch of fur kids. I can't imagine my life without animals.
I am loving the raincoat! My little man has to wear a sweater and jacket in the winter because otherwise it's too cold for him to go the bathroom outside and will choose to poop on our floor instead. He is a picture of him after just coming back in from outside:

I agree! I particularly love French Bulldogs, that face is adorable!
Thanks! They are pretty sweet. We got the frenchie from a friend of the family who had a jack russell terrier that did not get along with her. She is the sweetest dog but very high mainenance.
Aww! Love all the pictures! Too bad I'm at work and can't post a picture of my sweeties! DH and I have 4 animals.
Blue - 5 year old pit/lab mix. He's a sweetie. But oh, is he serious! He always looks at us so serious! It's cute. He has mastered the pouty lip if he's wanting attention. He weights about 90 pounds and will cuddle when he wants to. Since we no longer allow them on the couch, I don't get as much snuggles from him as before. He doesn't like to snuggle when he's on the bed.
D-Bo - 4 1/2 year old American Bulldog. He is our miniature horse! He comes in weighing 135 pounds, but totally thinks he's a lap dog. He will snuggle during the night.
Both dogs are sooo good with kids! I can't wait until we have kids!
Taylor - DH's cat from when he was young adult. She's about 12 years old.
Mary - cat we adopted a couple of years ago. She is sooo curious, and so precious! Love her! She's 2 1/2 years.

We have two cats, Zoey who will be 11 this summer and Vinny is 5. We had Zoey first so he hates Vinny and they fight a lot.
Zoey is nuts....he still acts like a kitten and in my mommy eyes, he still looks like one despite being about 14 pounds. He is just a huge cat. He loves to eat, he tries to steal my food and he succeeded many times. He's only snuggly when he wants to be, which isn't often and even less since Vinny came. But he's the true definition of a cat, he's very curious and he'll chase anything. He's very spunky.
Vinny is more mellow. He loves to snuggle, so he is often on my lap or snuggled next to me in bed. He's got long hair, and I read long haired cats are more mellow....in the case of my cats it's true since Zoey is hyper and short haired. Vinny loves the outdoors though he is not allowed out, so he'll sit for hours at any open door or window. He's not curious like Zoey, he doesn't really care to chase bugs and he doesn't like the laser pointer.

Haha, the tie! We put a bow-tie on Rex (our pug/shepard mix) for Christmas and I was so in love with how dapper he looked, but I couldn't get him to sit still so I could take a picture.

I have a 1 year old Shetland sheep dog named Charlie. Who can be so sassy and then looks at you with those almond shaped eyes and you can't help but love him.
2 cats that are 12 years old. Their names are Jasmine and Shadow. I've had them since they were kittens and I was in college.
