Husband vent

So I was modeling some new clothes to DH and put on a cute new bra i got to show him and asked him if he thought I looked sexy in it. He said ... "For a pregnant woman..." Seriously dude??? What kind of a response is that? Geez thanks for making me feel totally not attractive now.

    haha aww....that makes me laugh because I can see my husband doing that too. I am sure he thinks you are as beautiful as ever but he is a guy and they often stick their foot in their mouths.

    Lol, sounds like my DH.  He said to me a few weeks ago, "ya know, for a pregnant woman you aren't that big."  Gee, thanks!

    Yep, my fiance says some silly things too!  He told me yesterday that for "being pregnant, I keep it pretty well contained"...not even sure what that was supposed to mean.

    Oh yeah, that's got my DH written all over it....he is in this phase where he giggles when he sees my bump in tight clothes and tells me I am cute, I....obviously being hormonal always take it as he is laughing at me and feel like throwing a paperweight at his head.....

    My husband told me (as I was shopping for maternity clothes) "that I may want to avoid horizontal stripes."  I just looked at him and he quickly was like "No no no that came out wrong! You'll look great in anything! I just heard that somewhere..."  Total Homer 'Doh!' moment. ;)
