I don't. Especially if there is nipple involved. I have no desire to see your boobs. Even less of a desire to see your nipple. I don't care if there is a kid attached or not. I do not want to know what your boobs look like or your nipples.
I think gymboree onsies are the WORST. I love all their other clothes but there onsies have a horrible fit. And also wtf is with their sizing?? 6 to 12 months is like saying, at some point this will probably fit, we just aren't sure when.
I am not a fan of school work for over the summer. I realize some students do not have parents who are involved, and / or that some parents need direction to keep their children learning through the summer. It is very good to continue learning through the summer. But crap! V has a ton of work requirements for over the summer. Read 20 books, maintain a writing journal, mathmatics summer packet, fishies math review, and a summer practice packet. She's going from K to 1st grade.
I think summer should be a chance to do fun, hands-on learning in the child's areas of interest. Yes, they can practice the skills they learned in the classroom, but I don't think it should be super structured or required.
Some family friends do a "summer academy" with their kids. They travel to places like Gettysburg, Lincoln's home in Springfield, Chicago, Yellowstone, etc. and then the kids write short stories and make picture books of what they saw and learned. I love this idea and will probably do something similar with my kids.

Yes! I agree with the sizing! I just bought some stuff for Hazel and got 12-18 months because that was the next size and the 6-12 doesn't have much room left for her in her winter stuff. She is not in 12 month size anywhere else though!
Angelina Jolie isn't a hero for having a mastectomy. Yes, it was brave. But she's not a hero. She's still a homewreckin' slut that broke up Brad and Jennifer.
Plus, I hate her, so there's that.
I agree. Plus, I'm sure there's plenty of at-risk women who would get a preventative mastectomy if they had the means to get a surgery that insurance probably wouldn't cover, and reconstructive surgery so good that the entire ordeal literally went unnoticed for 4 months.
Now I know who will want to see my fancy nursing photos. ;] knew I could count on Squeegy.
I like nursing photos too, but I understand why some people don't.
I'm sad I don't have any good ones, so im getting some since a photographer is coming to a BFing group playdate. I spend a lot of time giving him solids and have tons of photos, and so much time playing and have tons of photos. I spend so much of my time nursing but don't have any...but I will. And there will be very little boob and no nip involved.

i hate her...i hope what she did empowers other women to feel confident enough to do the same, but I hate her, she is a home wrecking, blood wearing, freak.
It is just very, oh look at me, I did this because I am so awesome and my husband who I stole from another woman (he's a diick) and he was so supportive.
Oh fuckoffhoebag.
Agreed. Poor Jen. No matter how many children they adopt from impoverished countries, or how much time/money they dedicate to charitable causes, I still think they're both azzholes.
I don't like Kohl's. I hate how they overprice their stuff so they can put it on "sale" and make people feel like they're "saving" money when in reality it's often crappy quality stuff that isn't worth the sale price. And holy polyester Batman, try finding a natural fiber in their women's clothing department.
Except their old lady clothes section. It's where I buy gifts for my Nana.

I think there should be stricter penalties on parking in a handicapped parking spot when you are in no way handicapped.
In my perfect world you would pay a fine that would go to a charity to support those with disabilities and just because I am in a mood I think you should have to spend a week as a handicapped functioning adult and see what it is like.

I love Kohl's because it's the cheapest place to buy staples for the kids. Carters is 25% cheaper at Kohls than at the Carter's store and it's the same product.
Plus, shoes!
I want to like Kohls. I just never have success there. Ever.
Maybe this is also why I dislike it--I guess most of what's on the racks isn't my style. And I've tried so many times and just been disappointed with what I've come up with.
Also, we're lucky enough to have a Carter's outlet as close as the nearest Kohl's. Cheaper than Kohl's and more selection. Come shopping next time you're in IL, ok, LL?
I've been taking pictures and video of Nola nursing because I know it's coming to an end soon. I would never have the guts to post them but, like you, I can appreciate those that do post them!

So really it's the same as Rora saying she doesn't mind those annoying stick figure family stickers and Mirask telling her she's crazy.
Also, to be fair, the "don't like it don't look" doesn't really work well when it's a photo posted publically.

I absolutely agree. At the same time, I always remind myself that some disabilities are invisible when I'm ready to feel all judgy about someone I think isn't handicapped parking in a handicapped spot (because let's face it, I'm judgy). For instance--my mom used to drive my grandma all over and had to park in handicapped spots for her. She got glared at all the time when she got out of the car but hadn't gotten my 90 year old grandmother out yet because people assumed she was by herself and clearly not disabled.
I really wish we could have good "punishment fits the crime" consequences like that!

I only have success there with DD's clothes. At the end of last summer, I got amazing clearance deals on clothes for DD for this summer. Like $30 dresses for $4.00, plus my mom had coupons and got more $ off for using her kohl's charge etc. That being said, I don't shop there for myself.
Not necessarily an UO, but I hate it when people on TB use people's real names in threads on TB. (Looking at you right now Mathlete.) I know a lot of people do it, but seriously, if someone wanted to be called their real name on TB, their sn would clearly reflect that or they would be the ones using their real name in threads, not others. Even though a lot of people on TB might "know" that bumpie's real name, sometimes that bumpie wants to keep it separate.
Most of the time I get the fact it was a slip of the tongue, but it really annoys me, even if it was an accident.
It seems to happen quite often these days. It is annoying.

I totally agree. I see people misuse those spots all the time.
I do, however, think there should be exceptions. Oh, you're 9 months pregly in July? Sure, park there.
I agree.there are exceptions..a lot of my anger stems from people who shouldn't park there that do, causes my mom to double park in usually a farther away spot and it never fails while she is shopping she gets a nasty note on her windshield from some ignorant ahole who didn't even bother to see the handicapped sign hanging from her mirror or the obvious fact there's no drivers seat.

I still don't think that's ok.
If you can't walk, have your doctor get you a temp handicap tag. You can't just park there because you are swollen and huge.
You are perfectly capable of walking, it might just take a little longer or it might suck...but that person who has to get their motorized wheelchair out of their car, and get to it, needs the extra room the spaces provide, or if they walk with a cane, crutches, etc., they should have the easiest access to the door.
you're right. I guess at 9 months pregly you could get a sticker if you really needed one.
What about the handycapable stall in the bathroom? I am horribly guilty of using those all the time. Esp if I have a stroller with me.
To me the handicapped stall is different--you're in and out in (I hope) a couple minutes, so it isn't like you're preventing someone from using it if they need to. I definitely use it if it's the only one open--no reason that a bunch of people should be waiting for one non-handi stall just to keep the handi stall open. Plus, half the time they put the changing table in there, which to me is saying "This is an oversized stall with multiple uses and we accept that non-handicapped people will be using it."
I guess my UO is that I don't think Angelina Jolie is a homewrecking hoar. I hate that it's always women that think that. The majority of people don't get all crazy about hating Brad Pitt for having an affair while he was married. Sure, Ang is a total weirdo, but it takes 2. She didn't strap him down and make him screw her.
I feel really strongly on assigning blame to both individuals since my DH was "married" when we got together. He was legally separated, and his wife moved across the country, but their marriage wasn't technically over when we started talking. I wasn't a homewrecker, and he wasn't a terrible person, but it was both of our faults. I wasn't the cause of their marriage ending (her screwing everyone in their apartment building was...) but I was labeled as a homewrecker in a select group of other Navy wives and was treated really crappy when I went out to visit.
I don't. Especially if there is nipple involved. I have no desire to see your boobs. Even less of a desire to see your nipple. I don't care if there is a kid attached or not. I do not want to know what your boobs look like or your nipples.

I am not allowed to post my opinion? All what? I stated my opinion. Squeeg stated her opinion. I don't think your comment was necessary. I don't avidly search for nursing photos and get my panties in a twist when I see them. I come across them on IG. I move to the next photo. If it was just a photo of a boob would that be ok? I see no difference. This is MY opinion. No one has to agree. I don't care. If squeeg wants to look at nursing pics, more power to her. Not like I am telling her "OMFG What I wrong with you!" I was not attacking her. I am not sure why you are so defensive of her. And she had already replied to my comment.

This is true! I had to walk a country mile into work from the parking lot my whole pregnancy. As I got bigger it sucked more and more, but I was capable. I just had to give myself extra time!

Most of the times I see it, it is because that was their former s/n on TB. If I changed my s/n to EnchiladaLova I'm guessing many people would still call me Toni, KWIM? I try VERY hard to remember not to use people's real names, but when it's a former s/n it's even harder.

Anita, try their Apt9 brand. I have found a number of things I like including dresses and pants.
I'm tall and chubby, so I have a hard time finding any flattering pants at Kohl's, but I like the Apt. 9 tops. And I like the Daisy Fuentes ones....they're more flattering.

Sorry ladies. It is habit for me to call her that because her SN used to include that. Also I am on my phone that will autocorrect the hell out of her current SN. I will stop doing it.
For the record. I don't mine. It is much easier than my SN.

Yes! So comfy and cute. And the Lauren Conrad stuff is adorable too.
I love the LC line, and also the JLo stuff.
I think women have problems in that store when they are trying to shop in the Juniors section. I have a hard time buying clothes but when I shop in the misses at Kohls I find some good things and good prices.

It's terrible girl on girl hate. Why do we automatically blame the women? As if the men aren't responsible either? Drives me crazy.
I think they're both at fault. I hate on Brad equally. Also, it's not like they were in the middle of divorce proceedings, there was all of this speculation, and he continuously denied it.

I wasn't the cause of their marriage ending (her screwing everyone in their apartment building was...) but I was labeled as a homewrecker in a select group of other Navy wives and was treated really crappy when I went out to visit.

Yes..only parking spots is an issue with me also business's without a handicapped entrance.

I'm tall and chubby, so I have a hard time finding any flattering pants at Kohl's, but I like the Apt. 9 tops. And I like the Daisy Fuentes ones....they're more flattering.

That's what I was going to say. It was perfectly fine when it was her screen name.
For the record. I don't mine. It is much easier than my SN.
I love the LC line, and also the JLo stuff.
I think women have problems in that store when they are trying to shop in the Juniors section. I have a hard time buying clothes but when I shop in the misses at Kohls I find some good things and good prices.

I think they're both at fault. I hate on Brad equally. Also, it's not like they were in the middle of divorce proceedings, there was all of this speculation, and he continuously denied it.
I love their LC stuff!! I usually can only buy it on sale, but it makes me feel so stylish!

I agree, except for baseball.
