  We will be getting Vitamin K.  All of my research shows that it's good for the baby.  We'll have it administered several hours after birth, too.  Not right away.

  Neither Hep B nor the eye drops can be administered due to a family history of allergies.  All vaccines will wait until the baby is old enough to be able to fight off any reactions s/he may have.  Although my brother's son did just fine with his (also on an alternate schedule) so I'm hoping my baby is just as lucky.  But I won't risk it as a newborn.  That and I am STD free and have been tested.
