I love how entertaining this age is. They're funny little goofy things, aren't they?
Elissa spent about an hour last night over-excitedly shoving a pacifier in her mouth (sideways, mind you) and bouncing up and down holding on to various furniture.
She hasn't taken a pacifier in many many months.
What strange goofy fun is your kid having?

Re: Goofy things your LO does.
A few days ago she figured out how to reach behind her head. I think she is trying to reach the top of it but cant. So she will put a toy behind her head, drop it, laugh, look for it and do it all over again. So weird.
And her new favorite game of all time is running (crawling actually) away from me. If I get up to see where she has gone she will squeal and giggle and try her hardest to run as fast as she can away from me so I can chase her and catch her. Its funny and annoying.

V does this too. So funny. She is crawling so fast now sometimes I can't catch up with her and she end up in another room. Silly girl.
I am loving this stage! I especially love seeing them both interact with each other. Emma will play peek a boo with anything (curtain, burp cloth, etc) and if Liam is watching he cracks up! She will also stand up in her crib and peek over at Liam, which Liam loves! (I woke up to their giggles last sat. morning - it was awesome).
The other day I was rocking Emma to sleep and she was fighting it so I put a burb cloth over her face. Well she pulled it off and started waving it, so I said "shhh". She started giggling and waving again, and after that if I even looked at her she would crack up. She was laughing so hard and so loud, poor Liam couldn't fall asleep in the nursery across the house! So much for bed time!
This thread is hilarious! Last week when Taylor was babbling, I put my finger to her lips in an up-and-down motion to make that funny noise, and she thought that was really cool and tries to mimic it on her own with her hand, but can't quite get the noise right. It's funny to watch her attempt it though.
I've already bragged about this, but when she gets a toy phone in her hand, she'll put it to her ear and say "Ha?" for Hello. Well she doesn't really get that other toys aren't phones. She'll put the remote, her rattle, etc next to her ear and say hello to them.
Even a minor event in the life of a child is an event of that child's world and thus a world event.
Bryson growls or blows raspberries at EVERYTHING. If he does them in your face, it cracks him up. Making a contest out of raspberries makes him absolutely squeal.
He loves to take a plastic bowl and scrape it across the grout between the tiles. He pushes down hard to make the noise screen, then kicks it across the room and belly rolls. Weirdo.
