I live in Texas, and have country roots. What are some southern girl names, that can grow well, but aren't names like LouAnn etc.? We're really loving Amelia Wren right now but want a bigger variety of names and love southern names.
That's a cute name! Definitely can grow up with it. I've never been able to pick out girl names, but my sister had the name Maggie picked when she was pregnant
If we have a girl, she's going to be Caroline Joe, Caroline because I love that name and Joe for my Grandpa who passed away a few years ago-- he wasn't a Joseph, just Joe
If we have a boy, I'm going with Jackson Ellis, because I love Jack for a nickname but wanted something more substantial and Ellis is my husband's father's middle name
We wanted family names for middle names-- a lot of people have commented that our names a very Southern-- which wasn't on purpose at all, but certainly welcome
