Question for Canadians

Where are you planning to register? What are the most popular/common baby stores where you live?

My sister is throwing me a shower in Canada, but I live in the U.S. The usual places in Chicago (Target, Babies 'R Us, etc.) don't have registries that are compatible with U.S. and Canadian locations, so I'm thinking I'll have to register somewhere specifically Canadian.

  • Weird that BRU isnt compatible. Maybe if you register on the Canadian site?

Sears also ships to the USA now, so you might be able to register there as well.

At the recommendation of another post I was reading here, I registered with: MyRegistry.com and it allows you to create one registry that has items from various retailers.

  • Amazon doesn't ship to Canada for most items.

Fab baby gear is an Ontario chain.

Snugglebugs is a pretty big online store across Canada.

    West Coast kids

    BRU Cda  of course

It really depends on what part of the country your sister is in.

  • It goes both ways we can't use car seats and strollers from the states because they need to be CSA approved which sucks ours are much more expensive! but we can bring cribs etc back so it must be vise versa
  • There is target in Canada. You could probably do the registry there.
