WWYD: re OB appointment

When I was at the OB for my last visit the receptionist who scheduled my next appointment counted wrong and booked my next one for only 3 weeks, not 4.

Should I call the office and change my appt till a week later, or just go at 3 weeks? I want to go at 3 weeks (mostly bc this has been a rough few weeks for me and I'd love the reassurance that everything is ok next week rather than having to wait) but I'm worried that will mess things up later on. I guess it won't...?

Anyway, wwyd?

    they will schedule you most likely for 5 weeks later if you go in 3, so you are going to get screwed up somewhere. i would reschedule for the 4 weeks

    I'd just go now and then ask your OB what she wants to do to get you "back on schedule". I had a weird scheduling issue too and know it's going to come up again with our vacation plans this summer. It doesn't have to be exact.

    My OB schedules me as often as she needs/wants to see me...my first appt was at 8 weeks, then 10 and 14...my next appt will be at 17 weeks and then 20 for the a/s. I think they all work themselves out eventually. It probably wouldn't hurt to call, but i

    If your ticker is right and you are 13 weeks then the 3 week appointment might be to get you on schedule for a 16 week appointment and then your next would be 20 weeks.

    Id keep the appointment you have now and just book for every 4 weeks after that.

    It will a work out in the end because you will have to start goi g every two weeks and then every week until you deliver.

    They did that for my second appointment. I went at 11 weeks, instead of 12.  But, it was because my OB was OOT that next week.  There may have been a reason for it.  I would just keep the appointment.
