I will be 21 weeks tomorrow & I still have not felt the baby. No flutters or butterflies, nothing. I worry so much if something is wrong but I have spoke to friends who said they didn't feel the baby until 21 - 22 weeks. But when I read posts on this board of people feeling the baby at 17 weeks I get sad & worried.
Anyhow, wanted to know if anyone else is in the same boat? And no health concerns or worries so far during pregnancy, everything is normal. She is quite active during the ultrasounds I had at 13 & 18 weeks but I don't feel her activity!
Re: 21 weeks & still no movemenet - anyone else?
1st pregnancy: m/c began 1/12/09 d&c 1/13/09 8wks. Baby stopped growing at about 6wks.
Delaney: Born 10/15/09
Gavin: Born 4/8/11
Baby #3: due July 10, 2014
with my first i didn't feel anything at all until 23 weeks, then strong kicks or nothing. doc told me at the time not to worry until 28 weeks and that it depends on your placenta and how the baby is lying. if you saw the baby move during your ultrasound then you are fine.with this second baby i felt it at 15 weeks ro so

Notes:
With ds I didn't feel him move until I was 23-24 weeks. I remember being at my big u/s and the tech saying that ds was kicking me and moving and I couldn't feel it at all. I felt this one around 18 weeks but from what I hear, you can feel the 2nd baby much sooner. I hope you feel the little flutters soon so you can be reassured.
i didn't start to feel the baby until 23 weeks. i always felt like such a loser each visit when the nurse asked if i felt the baby yet. everyone is different and my doctor said not to worry until 28 weeks. she actually said by 28 weeks i'll probably be asking her for baby xanax
in any case, i feel him all the time now, and just last night i had my husband feel my stomach and he could feel the little guy kicking like crazy.

I love these two beautiful children!
I did not have movement with DS until 21+ weeks because I had an anterior placenta. He is now a healthy 18 month old!
This time around has been totally different...I started feeling regular kicks at 15 weeks and DH can already feel them from the outside. It's all much much sooner than it was the first time around!
I think I started feeling movement around week 21, but even then I wasn't sure if it was LO or other random internal stuff. It wasn't until I saw my belly physically move (around week 24) that I was really certain that I was feeling the baby.
Hang in there...soon you'll be able to feel your LO!
