This year I am thinking about some kind of cars/construction party or a zoo theme. I am leaning towards zoo.
We did zoo/animal theme for Andrew's birthday last year. So many cute ideas out there!
Hobby Lobby had tons of stuff to decorate with ( Idk if you have one around you).

Potty training- not even close to thinking about it. Basically, we are still in the learning to stand and walk phase, and it is not going well. I guess I just figure we need to deal with one hurdle at a time, so the potty training will have to wait.

Closer to 2 1/2. He is nowhere near ready, and I don't want to push it.

Clothes: Generally 18-24, though I have started throwing the 2Ts into the mix too. As for shoes, she is in a 4 or 5, depending on the shoe. Tiny feet, this one.

18-24 month clothes with a few 2T shirts that are a bit big

Ugh, we gauge interest every week or so and so far he is not ready at all. I'm hoping he'll be ready around 2 when he moves up a class at daycare and they have potties in that class.

We are in mostly 24 month/2T stuff. He has a few things that are 18 months that we still put him in, but they are tight. I should really pack them up. Shoes are mostly a 6.

Anyone else dealing with a monster child?? Mine has been satan's spawn lately. I've never been happier to see a Monday roll around to drop his cranky pants off at daycare.

YES. Lena loves a tantrum. But unlike you, Monday means I am alone with her from 7am-8pm, so I was NOT looking forward to today! And now she is taking a very early nap which means a very, very long afternoon. Ugh.

Within the next month. DD was trained for a week then DH and I went out for a day and night and left her with my bro and it went downhill after that so we took a break.

Some pants are 12/18 month and shirts are 18/24 month. Shoes were in 5s but some of those are too big.

Oh me, me!!!! K has been so cranky when I pick her up from daycare but is great for our Daycare lady. It's the witching hour all over again. Part of the problem is she is so routine oriented so if I don't have her dinner on the table at 5pm, she gives me hell. We usually get home at 4:45 so its usually tight.

DD's in 24 mo clothing, with some 2T shirts. Size 5 shoes are starting to get a little tight. Cloth diapers. We've introduced the potty but haven't been pushing it. She sits on it before bed most nights and at random times. She was showing more interest but got out of it a little when she had a GI bug a few weeks ago and wasn't making as much urine. I bought her some princess panties and she loves them. But one night she was wearing them and peed all over her carpeted floor. That was when I decided to put that on hold til summer, when she can just play outside in undies and a t-shirt.

So much easier than you would think. It was my first attempt at using tips. I used a star tip on all of them. The biggest challenge was melting frosting in 90-something degree weather.

I bought the eyes because I ran out of time to make them. They sell in them in the baking aisle of Michaels, AC Moore, etc. The mouths were Thin Mint cookies. The Elmo nose was an M&M. The Cookie Monster cookie was Cookie Crisp cereal.

I ate half bag of funyuns today and it was amazing.

The only regret I have is that now I feel like I can drink 5 gallons of water now I'm so thirsty. I know if I drink too much I will be up peeing every five minutes.

I don't think you can kill them. You'd literally have to just throw it in the trash, even then it takes a while.

And as far at the Christmas Cactus, they are a pretty easy to take care of. I think that you only have to water it once a week. You can totally handle it. (Says the girl that has never kept a plant alive.)

We're making plans to go to CA for her 2nd bday. I can not believe I impulsively agreed to this shizz. 7 years I've been with H, and this will be the very first time I'm meeting any of my inlaws besides my SIL who lives 20 mins from us.
