Somehow I slipped at the top of the stairs and fell down the entire flight. Luckily the stairs are all carpeted and I was bouncing down on my butt and back the whole way. I can't believe I couldn't stop myself. I am sore and will certainly be bruised, but otherwise fine. I am very worried about any possible trauma to the baby and naturally it's Sunday evening so no one is at the doctor's office. I haven't felt the baby move yet, though that isn't necessarily abnormal. No bleeding. Just wondering how concerned you all think I should be. Would you march yourself to the ER or wait until your regularly scheduled appointment tomorrow afternoon?

I actually did this exact thing a couple months ago, fell down the entire flight of stairs in my house. Except they're hardwood, not carpet. I called my OB and she had me go in for an emergency ultrasound and same-day appointment with her. Everything w

Not to scare you but I fell down a flight of stairs during my first pregnancy and hit my butt at the bottom hard enough that I had a huge bruise. I was probably 22 weeks pregnant. I did not get checked out.
