If you make your own purees, what have you made? with DS1 I did a combination of homemade purees and jarred purees, and introduced finger foods a little early. I have mastered simple purees: Butternut squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples, bananas, peaches, and pears. Has anyone tried anything else? Or given a go at making some combinations? I would love Colby to have a wide variety of foods that he eats early on, but some of the combinations of the baby food jars I don't think I would ever be able to make at home.
How are you all doing with making your own purees?
