Sometimes I wish there was a manual on how to parent. I want to do the right thing but sometimes I don't know what that right thing is.
Anyway, DS wants to get his ears pierced, he's 17. Personally, I think teenage boys with their ears pierced look like punks.
Just looking for some outside opinions. I know this isn't a huge deal obviously but for some reason, this is really weighing on me. I'm crazy.

My brother pierced his ear at 17 without asking for permission. I remember the day he came home with it. My parents were upset, but it didn't last long, because he has sensitive skin (like I do) and within a few weeks it was gone.
