Parents of infants need not wade in.
Reading another thread that had people 'waiting' for bedtime or 'getting the bath going' kind of blew my mind.
My kids are in bed, lights out, between 7pm and 8pm. I can't imagine having them up any later. My old bones just couldn't hack it and I can't imagine what mornings would be like.
If you keep your kids up late/r, is there reasoning behind it?
Re: s/o...seriously, what time do you put your kids to bed?
Dinner between 6 and 6:30. Bath between 7 and 7:30. In bed at 8 p.m.
I have 2 co-worker friends whose LOs, age 2 and 3, go to bed around 10 p.m. Then they sleep til 10 a.m. In both cases, the fathers are SAH or WAH fathers, and this is the

Reese is in bed between 6;50-7:15 unless a special occasion. If she takes a nap during the day, she usually plays in her crib until 8 and then falls asleep. (Those days we put her in at 7:15). If she doesn't nap--she goes in at 6:45-6:50 and passes out
Our bedtime routine takes forEVER. On bath nights (every other night) we start bath around 7:45 or 8. That usually takes around 30 minutes. I do bath and Nikolai hangs out with daddy in his towel while I get jams ready, clean up the bathroo

We are the odd ones out apparently. DD1's bedtime is around 11pm. I work night shift, and MH works from home and is a night owl. Once she starts preschool I realize we will have to adjust her schedule, but our pediatrician said there's nothing wrong wi
She goes down between 8-8:30. We used to do 7:30-8 but as she's gotten older and we are doing sit down meals together it just doesn't happen. I leave work at 4:45 but by the time I take the train to the burbs and pick her up from dayca
Lights out between 8 and 9. If he goes down earlier than that, he'll hang out in his room and eventually fall asleep between 8 and 9.
He wakes up between 7 and 8 and takes a late nap. We put him down at noon but he doesn't usually fall asleep unt
My DD's bedtime used to fall between 7 and 7:30 PM, but recently it's become between 7:30 and 8 PM. I try to have her in bed no later than 8 PM and 99% of the time, she's in bed and fully asleep by 8 PM. I have to get her up and out the door by 6:45 AM
We usually head to the bath around 6:30 and DD is in bed by 7-7:15.
ETA: I have to wake DD up by 7am on weekdays and she sleeps until 7:30-8:30 on weekends. And she doesn't nap much at all.
Also, I cherish the couple hours we have to ours
