Is anyone still keeping the secret?

My husband and I are expecting our first child September 21, and have yet to let the world know that we are indeed pregnant! This is mainly because we want to tell our family members face to face...which is in two weeks! My favorite thing about the "secret"; there is some speculation because I haven't been drinking alcohol (thanks to Lent I can keep covert). But every day I get "you aren't drinking, are you pregnant?" a simple sarcastic remark of "oh, you know it." gets people off your back; along with wearing sweaters baggy shirts I have actually been told how "skinny" I was getting if only they could see me when I take off the sweaters ....

Anyway I was just wondering how many of our group of September mommies are still keeping it hush hush...

We are out to family and close friends but it's not "Facebook official" yet. We're going to the doc today, so once everything looks good, we'll make the announcement.

My work knows, but hubby will tell everyone tomorrow.

I'm not good at keeping these kind of secrets! MIL, 2 close friends and my sisters knew right away. After the first appointment, which was around the Superbowl, I started telling more people.

We haven't told anyone yet, not even our parents. I don't really have a good reason not for telling yet. I have my 16 week appt next week so I'll guess we'll figure out a time to tell after that.

we are! we only told immediate family and very close friends. We have not begun telling anyone extra yet and don't plan to until at least 16 weeks...maybe even 20 because every time I reach a milestone and think I'm ready...then I'm not!
